We had a great stay in this peaceful countryside location. It was incredibly quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Leena was a great host—she greeted us on arrival, gave us a tour, and answered all our questions. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake and did some fishing, which was quite enjoyable. The apartment was clean and comfortable, though we did notice the lack of forced air extraction in the kitchen while cooking and found the beds a bit too soft for our liking; an upgrade might be something to consider. However, these were minor issues, and overall, we had no problems at all. We would definitely recommend staying here. Wishing Leena the best of luck with her vineyard—perhaps she’ll become Finland’s leading wine producer one day!

An unmissable experience for those who love Alvar Aalto. In addition to the architectural design and furniture, the furnishings are also by Alvar Aalto. In the apartment you can also find copies of the drawings and plans and other information about Sunila. Thanks Leena!

I really liked this place. Everything is decorated tastefully in retro style. Many thanks to the hostess for her very warm communication and responsiveness.

Kiva paikka, hyvien kulkuyhteyksien varrella. Kauniit maisemat ja ihana luonnonrauha. Sauna ihan loistava, joessakin pulahdettiin saunomisen lomassa. Siistit ja toimivat tilat, tykättiin huoneistosta. Kiitos.

Tässä asunnossa yöpyminen oli valtavan hieno kokemus! Asunto on hurjan kaunis ja sen sisustuksessa riittää paljon ihailtavaa. Tunnelma oli lämmin ja kotoisa, ja ympäristö vaikutti ihanan rauhalliselta.

Das Haus ist einfach einmalig. Die Aussicht auf den See ist atemberaubend und es ist toll, dass man direkt im Wald ist. Unglaublich schön. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Kari ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat sogar kurzfristig noch eine Kinderschwimmweste für unsere Tochter organisiert. Vielen Dank! Der Whirlpool und die Saune sind top in Schuss und die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Alles in Allem war es ein toller, erholsamer Urlaub für uns und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!

Väga hubane, puhas , vaikne ja ilusa ümbrusega maja

Vietimme Teijan kohteessa juhannusta kolmen pikkuperheen voimin. Kuvat eivät ihan antaneet oikeutta paikalle, paikka oli kivempi ja upeampi kuin odotimme! Lapsilla oli paljon tilaa temmeltää, trampoliini oli lapsille iloinen yllätys. Puusaunassa sai hyvät löytyt ja vesi oli sopivan matalaa lapsille. Ihana ympäristö ja rauha. Ainoa asia, mikä uupui oli pelastusliivit, että olisi voinut lähteä soutelemaan & kalastelemaan. Olisi mahtunut isompikin porukka mukaan. Kohteessa oli siistiä, pihat haravoitu ja kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Hyttysiäkin oli varoitettua vähemmän, kuitenkin rantamökin hyttyssuojat sängyissä oli hyvät. Teija vastasi viesteihin todella nopeasti ja he olivat vastaanottamassa meitä tullessa, saunaan oli kannettu vedet valmiiksi ja saunaan laitettu puut. Oli todella tervetullut olo. Saunamökin edessä oleva riippukeinu oli aika kiikkerä, muutamaan otteeseen niin lapset kuin aikuisetkin siitä tippuivat. Varovaisuutta siis sen kanssa. Oli kyllä ihanan rentouttava juhannus!

Wer mal etwas Ruhe in einer schönen Umgebung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Es ist einfach wunderbar von der Sauna direkt in den See zu springen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Mukava kokemus! Viestittely majoittajan kanssa sujui ongelmitta ja sisäänkirjautuminen onnistui niin että sain henkilökohtaisen opastuksen majoitukseen liittyen. Paikka on ihanan rauhallinen ja vastapäätä olevaa kyläsaunaa on mahdollista kuulema saada vuokrattua. Kanootit olivat ihana lisä mutta en itse ehtinyt niitä käyttämään. Lähikauppaa eikä palveluita ole joten omat eväät mukaan. Muuten mitä mainioin paikka majoittua!
