The property is absolutely stunning, only topped by the amazing views! The home is beautifully nestled into the rock and natural surroundings. Consequently, the views from the hot tub and the sauna are breathtaking. During our stay, we had excellent sunny weather and enjoyed daily. Hikes: either directly from the home or within a 30 minute car drive. The house itself is well laid out and the kitchen has everything you need for six people. It never felt crowded, except occasionally the two lounge chairs from which you could view the valley, as we sometimes fought over who gets to sit in them… 😊 There is a small grocery store just down the mountain within a 15 minute drive. It is well stocked but a bit expensive. For us this was a perfect vacation as we just wanted to enjoy nature and relax. Beyond that, there really isn’t much to do as there are neither museums nor cultural points of interest. During the winter time, this obviously is a prime skiing location.

Well equipped, spacious and nice cabin. Fantastic outdoor area and short distance to the water. Cozy & helpful hosts. We had a nice week in the sand.

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. Susanne was very communicative and did everything possible to ensure an easy and enjoyable stay!

This was the most unique place we ever stayed. Highly recommend, we really liked the oldschool interior. :)

Nice house that worked well for us.

Ine and Per were wonderful hosts! Very helpful and friendly. The house was wonderful with everything we needed and a beautiful outdoor space for kids! We would have loved to have our grand daughters, who live in Bø, come over to play but it was too rainy while we were there. We would definitely stay here next time we come to Norway!!

Very nice cabin, which is beautifully decorated. Clean and nice. Nothing missing. Good beds. Peaceful and great location, where you can enjoy the evening in the jacuzzi on the terrace. Cheerful host, who responds quickly to messages. The cabin is recommended.

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

Super cozy simple place to disconnect from the city, we only stayed for one night, but enjoyed our stay ❤️

Lovely cabin that is family friendly (we were there with 2 smaller children to ski). Short walk to the alpine area, possibility to drive to the mountain top and walk a small round of cross-country skiing as well as small cross-country tracks under 100 meters from the cabin. Otherwise cozy and practically furnished cabin with lovely sun terrace. It was great to be there and we experienced hosts who responded quickly to questions.

Visiting Grandma's House is an experience! The atmosphere in the old house is unique. We arrived late due to traffic problems at E134 after the flood and went early to Lårdalsstigen the next day. Would love to have more time to just sit down and be and look into the amazing interior. Lovely location and very cozy with all the nice kyra. An accommodation here is perfect to combine with Bjaaland village restaurant and at the same time support other business activities in the village! Also it was a great memory! Anette was very welcoming and nice!

Wonderful place, camping equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The sauna is “the icing on the cake.”

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The home was perfect for us as a family with two kids and a dog. Close to the water and swimming. Walking distance into the village. Only 1.30 hours to get to other villages with other activities such as climbing in high altitude track, Gaustatoppen etc. Very beautiful place!
