Vacation rentals with a patio in Kvaløya

Excellent house and host family, great nature and fine village, we enjoyed watching the different kind of birds.

We had an incredible stay here in Tromso. The location is amazing with stunning scenery in every direction. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful walking path along the ocean just steps from the Airbnb. Bjorn was very response, answering all of our questions and providing local recommendations. The apartment was super clean, cozy and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed 4 nights alone in Espen’snplace and it felt straight like home. So cozy & the views were phenomenal. Even spotted the northern lights outside in the lane. The only catch is that it’s far from the city centre but the buses in Tromso are super convenient & cheap so travelling wasn’t a problem. Would definitely reconsider staying here on my next trip to Tromso!

Sehr gute Lage, mit Parkplatz, wunder schöne Aussicht, sehr sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Geschäft in der Nähe, Betten sehr gemütlich. Ein großer Pluspunkt war, dass man direkt vor der Haustür eine Skitour gehen kann.

The house and view was great! Jens was easy to communicate with, unfortunately we never met him in person. Good location near a lot of skimountaineering possibilities, which was the reason we came to Norway. The driveway to the house can be tricky and icy in winter! We had a 4wd with spikes and we barely made it up and down a few days. One thing that was missing was the wood for the fireplace we had to buy some ourselves. We rent 4 houses in Norway so far and we always got wood provided for free :) It's just one bathroom and one separate toilet for the whole house, which is not much at all, for us it worked (we were 9) but have that in mind if you wanna go there. Highly recommended place in general!

Dette var den beste Airbnb vi har bodd på! Huset i seg selv er en design perle der ingenting er overlatt til tilfeldighetene. Utsikten fortreffelig. Leilighet ligger godt skjermet for seg selv, og man får nyte privatliv. Den er større en den virker på bilder, og holder høy standard. Perfekt avstand til byen, og butikker med en liten biltur. Området har en strand 5 minutter fra huset. Turløype rett bak huset. Når det kommer til vertsfamilien forstår vi at de er superhost, rett og slett vertskap i ypperste klasse. Vi følte oss velkommen med en gang. Familien er veldig omsorgsfulle og hjertevarme. Dette stedet blir vi å benytte flere ganger. 10/10⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay here and in the delightful, picturesque village of Ersfjordbotn. For any visitors hoping to use the bus, number 425 Mon to Fri goes from/to Tromsø, only a few times per day and on a Saturday it's the 425 then 42 (no service on a Sunday). The location of this apartment is stunning and we enjoyed deep snow while we were there. The apartment/kitchen is well equipped, the bed has a firm mattress and it is more spacious than photos might suggest. I would have loved a door on the bedroom or curtains on the living area/front door as even in March it gets light at 5am! There is no shop in Ersfjordbotn so you will need to bring absolutely everything you need with you. There is a fabulous café though which we highly recommend visiting for lunch or a cake.

We enjoyed our stay. Big and very modern appartement, by the way a cool jacuzzi on the veranda. We had a very recovery vacation here in Tromsø. The host answered quickly all our questions. Thank you, greetings from Bavaria, Germany.

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The decor is impeccable, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, especially with the warm fireplace that adds to the charm. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

das Haus besticht durch die schöne Lage direkt am Meer, wir konnten direkt von der Terrasse aus Nordlichter beobachten. der Wohnraum lädt für gemütliche Stunden am Feuer ein. im Nordic Hotel 500m zu Fuss gab es ein super Frühstücks Buffet. wir können eine Aufenthalt hier also wärmstens empfehlen, es fehlt an nichts!

Boendet väldigt fint skick och köket välutrustat. Toppen värdpar. Mycket vackra vyer och spännande att se på alla fåglar.

The home was really beautiful and as described. The star of the home was the steam shower that was perfect after a long day of hiking. The couch was also large. Jarl was really flexible for our check in and out, plus was really fast to respond especially as we arrived which was helpful. You are only a thirty minute walk into town, so very close to all the bakeries and restaurants. Area is quiet, and one of the bedrooms is really dark which is great for the midnight sun.

Ce logement est placé idéalement avec un vue exceptionnelle depuis le balcon, on a eut la chance d'apercevoir des aurores boréales ! Cette cabane est parfaite pour 2 avec tous les équipements nécessaires au séjour. Les instructions de Hennes étaient claires et simples. Je recommande !

Un séjour parfait ! La maison était bien équipée, propre et très cocooning. Line et Kim ont été de très bons hôtes : sympathiques, toujours de bon conseils et plein d’attention. L’emplacement est parfait pour profiter du calme et de la nature tout en restant à proximité de Tromsø pour des activités plus citadines. Merci pour tout ! 😊

Très grande maison avec 3 chambres, cuisine équipée, salon et salle à manger. Parking sur place, à proximité de la grande route mais honnêtement la nuit c'est très tranquille. A proximité des magasins et de Tromso. Cette maison nous aura portée chance puisque nous avons pu voir les aurores boréales. Le propriétaire est très attentif à que tout se passe bien en plus.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

Was für eine schöne Unterkunft. Die Lage auf Håkøya ist sehr friedlich und doch sehr nah vom Zentrum. Die Aussicht aus der Wohnung auf das Meer und Tromsø ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr grosszügig. Die Küche hat alles, was man benötigt. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Karstein und Ida Marie sind sehr freundlich, äusserst hilfsbereit und sehr gute Gastgeber. Danke für die Unterstützung. Ich kann die Unterkunft bestens empfehlen.

We loved the stay!! The apartment is super cozy and I liked the separated but private bathroom. The neighborhood is perfect if you have a rental car and want to explore the surrounding nature and do day trips. You can very quickly get to good spots for northern light watching. But also without car, it’s easy to get around by public transport - just takes a bit longer. Supermarket is in walking distance. Lisabeth helped us out and was always reachable when needed :)

Logement très agréable à proximité du centre de Tromsøe. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L’appartement est conforme aux descriptions.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce logement et Øyvind était très réactif lorsque nous avons rencontré des petits soucis dans la cuisine. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Tromso, proche de la ville sans être en plein dedans et en plein milieu d'emplacements idylliques pour voir les aurores boréales... Vous pourrez même en voir directement au dessus de vous sur le porche, un régal pour aller les traquer ! Mon seul petit point négatif a été l'accès au logement, un peu compliqué avec la pente en plein hivers donc si handicap je dirai de faire attention... Sinon tout sera très facile et vous apprécierez grandement votre séjour ! Point bonus pour la literie qui était incroyablement confortable !

Нам все сподобалось, чіткі інструкції як потрапити, як заселитися і виселитися з помешкання. Близько до автобусної зупинки та канатної дороги. Магазин знаходиться в пішій доступності. Тепло і чисто. Зручне ліжко, є все необхідне для самостійного приготування їжі, тільки недостатньо розеток на кухні, тому приходилося постійно переключати. Поруч є хороша локація для полярного сяйва, та його навіть з вікна було видно.

Vi hadde et kjempefint og koselig opphold her! Leiligheten/huset var akkurat slik som beskrevet – ren, innbydende og fullt utstyrt med det vi trengte for et komfortabelt opphold. Beliggenheten var også veldig praktisk og fredelig. Kommunikasjonen med vertene var helt topp – raske til å svare, hjelpsomme og veldig imøtekommende gjennom hele oppholdet. Vi følte oss virkelig velkomne, og det gjorde hele forskjellen. Kan absolutt anbefales, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Die Lage ist phantastisch, die Wohnung sehr gemütlich, ein sehr bequemes Bett und eine sehr gute Kommunikation. In der Nähe ein toller Supermarkt, man kommt schnell nach Tromso, aber wichtiger war uns der ländliche Bereich. Anja Sofie hat uns viele Infos zur Nordlichtbeobachtung gegeben und wir haben an drei Tagen gute Beobachtungen machen können. Einmal direkt über dem Haus. Wir kamen gerade früh abends zurück und der Himmel brannte. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, nur Gutes für die Seele. Danke an Anja Sofie für die vielen Tipps.

Toller Ausblick über Tromsö und den Hafen, fußläufig sind die Eismeerkathedrale und die Talstation der Seilbahn zum Fjellheisen zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und hat eine schöne Atmosphäre. Astrid und Ole waren sehr gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit!
