Within walking distance it is only 3 minutes to the bus and 5 minutes to the lake promenade. So the city of Lucerne can be reached in 8 minutes or completely on foot along the popular lake promenade in about 15 minutes. The house is older, but the decor is modern or partly new. I can only agree with the previous reviews. I slept wonderfully!!! A great, clean place with very nice hosts. All suggestions or questions were always answered very quickly. The parking lot right in front of the house, has made the out/in very pleasant after exhausting excursions. The kitchen is simple, only top. Everything available and very well maintained. Looking forward to seeing you again...

I don’t usually write a review but I definitely have to write one for Walter’s place. He is such a friendly host that made the stay so much enjoyable. He would recommend perfect spots to view the beautiful Lake Zug or Lake Lucerne. He also recommended the best driving route for Alpen passe. If we can give 6 stars, would award him. It’s walkable distance to 2 marts. Easy 30mins drive to Zurich or Luzerne, about 1hr 30mins to Interlaken.

Our stay at “Herby’s” place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home and ohh that breathtaking view of the immensee! The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What made it even more special was the warm hospitality and attention to detail — it’s clear he truly cares about the guests and ofcourse winter garden plus the koi pond. The peaceful surroundings and local tips herby shared helped us experience the area in a more authentic and relaxed way. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and memorable experience. We would love to return again!
