Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kuratau

We stayed for one night while travelling down the North Island. The house was easy to access and was fully fenced which was ideal as we have a dog and 2 young children. The place was clean and tidy and was family friendly.

Our stay was perfect. We were delighted to be able to stay at short notice for 2 nights after our booked accommodation wasn’t up to standard when we arrived in Taupo. The communication was great. The house was as described, spotless and fully equipped kitchen. Short walk down to the lake. Thank you we would stay again

Great bach in Acacia Bay! Really conveniently located to the local restaurant and four square. And just a lovely retro vibe. Great for any kind of holiday! David also posted us back a charger which was very helpful!

The house was super easy to find. Very generous in size. Well appointed bathrooms. Felt secure as there is properties on 3 sides. Close to new shopping centre and big Woolworths Supermarket. Great location in regards to town. Very new!

Hands down the best AirBnB house we have stayed in, from booking to check-in and check-out, Josie and Will were friendly and helpful. The house was incredible, the photos don’t do it justice! Perfect for 8 adults to share with plenty of space, all amenities and fantastic views of the lake. Great location for the Ironman 70.3 World Champs, close enough to everything! Full on 10/10 from us all, thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clint was a great and helpful host. We used this place as a base to do the Tongariro Crossing hike. A quick 20 minute drive to the car shuttle parking lot for the hike. Clint also suggested some nice beaches nearby. It was great to have the whole house to ourselves.

We loved our night here, was so cosy and the kids loved the toys.

Ruby was a great and was very proactive with instructions. The place was spacious and had great entertainment with the spa, pool, and pool table.

The Retreat was fantastic - so good we wish that we could have stayed for longer than one night. Peaceful setting overlooking the water - the view from cottage 3 was incredible in my opinion. The owners greeted us upon arrival, provided great local restaurant recommendations and otherwise ensured we had whatever we needed. Tons of space for our family of 4. The property gives off a classic vibe, and it is clear they are updating and upgrading the units with new amenities, appliances, etc. The wood burning stove added a warm ambiance for a peaceful family movie night overlooking the lights across the lake. A highlight of our roadtrip so far.

Loved our stay on Tui! The master bedroom was ginormous and had a lovely light and bright feel to it. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was a quick walk into town and to the markets. Perfect. Would stay again.

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Great location really tidy comfortable beds so much for little money would highly encourage those looking for some amazing accomodation that ticks all the boxes.

Very handy to lake, shopping and eating out. The apartment was quiet, private with spacious upstairs area. Parking outside was wonderful and easy access made it an ideal place for us. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and a well equipped kitchen. We would recommend.

Really peaceful, walking distance to shops and magnificent river views. everything was catered for and very responsive hosts.

Was a great stay and beautiful surroundings

Was the perfect location for us to explore the area, including the forgotten highway. We were impressed how good the heating options were, x2 efficient heat pumps and great log burner, with heat transfer into the bedrooms, plenty of wood available. It was easy to feel at home as lots of personal touches throughout. We were a multi-generational family of 6 but could imagine x2 families would work well with the space. We self catered and kitchen was well set up to do this.

Very comfortable and beautiful home in a safe spot close to town. Had everything I need for a very comfortable stay.

Clean, cosy, and spacious! PERFECT spot in Taupo - we will definitely be back. We were in VERY late (2am) and Deborah was accomodating and let us check out late. The fully fenced area allowed us to let the dog out without worrying where he would venture off too. Bed is so comfy as well. 10/10 recommend!!

What a lovely stay with a great view over the hills. A very adequate kitchen, with bbq, plug in stove and all the essentials, as well as plenty of tea choices and some cereals. Would highly recommend.

Carolyn’s house is a true gem! the house is spacious, great bathroom and very well stocked kitchen. and the location!!!! the grounds literally touch Lake Taupo, it does not get better!! The communication with Carolyn was very easy, she also responded always very quickly. We had so wonderful days at the house, and can’t recommend it enough

The best place we've stayed at in New Zealand 😍 Everything is very clean, nice and with everything you need to have a great stay. There is plenty of room to place two large suitcases without being in the way, a large bathroom and the best thing is the kitchen, with all kinds of very well-kept utensils for cooking. There were also many options for breakfast, all very good. We were able to do laundry and there is a fenced terrace area for the accommodation, everything was very nice. Sher and Carty were charming with us, always making sure everything went well, taking an interest in us and giving us recommendations. Definitely a place to go back to, we left there delighted.

We had a great stay in a generous sized and beautifully kept place, with thoughtful extras too. Thank you for even providing an extra mattress! Lovely to be in the peaceful country but still handy to Taupō and to be able to bring our dog. Hiccup at the beginning with the dates and message but we were kindly compensated. Would love to stay again one day.
