This place is truly an underrated gem! The cozy atmosphere, paired with breathtaking views, made our stay unforgettable. The staff goes above and beyond to create the friendliest and most welcoming experience. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and we loved how they thoughtfully prepared a to-go basket so we could enjoy it on the go without missing out. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, adding a personal touch to our stay. We also had the pleasure of witnessing the activities at a nearby social foundation, which was fascinating—if only we had more time to join in! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Atiek & Andre represent the original idea of Airbnb, which is based on cultural exchange. They are both outstanding hosts and really looked after me. I felt welcomed like a friend. The traditional house is even more beautiful and spacious than you would expect from the pictures. It is truly a home and has a well equipped kitchen. I stayed in other places which were discribed as traditional, but this one was the best. It is very recommendable to have a car or scooter available. Alternatively you can also book a driver as mentioned in the listing. If you are planning to work and need WiFi, double check with the host before booking as it wasn't available during my stay. On the first day I used Atiek's hotspot and then got my own SIM card. Apart from the beautiful serene place and friendly hosts, I enjoyed learning about the community based tourism and sustainability activities.

What an amazing villa, truly a gem in the jungle. The highlights are the huge pool, delicious breakfast in the morning and the amazing care and service from the staff. It was a great treat to stay at Villa Juliette and would recommend for anyone looking to unwind, away from the city.
