Our week at Sisoq on Gili Asahan was the absolute highlight of our eight-week trip to Indonesia. I almost cried when we had to leave. The island is stunning, with a true Robinson Crusoe feel—no cars or motorbikes, everything within walking distance, and a few lovely restaurants and resorts nearby. The house is right on the beach, beautifully furnished with books and board games, spotless, and full of charm. Watching the stars from the upstairs balcony was magical. Daily cleaning is provided, and Jana was always available and incredibly helpful—especially when our daughter needed antibiotics and for organizing our return to Bali. As guests, you can use the nearby Eco Lodge Resort’s amenities (SUPs, kayaks) free of charge. We also loved the mountain yoga classes at Yoga Shala and relaxing massages at the spa. We felt completely cared for and would return in a heartbeat. A truly exceptional stay that we recommend wholeheartedly.

Was für ein Paradies! Es war genau so, wie es in der Beschreibung stand. Villa und Garten sind unglaublich hübsch und wahnsinnig gut gepflegt. Kadek, Gärtner und Seele des Hauses, war unfassbar zuvorkommend und hat uns geholfen, alle wichtigen Erledigungen zu machen. Auch beim Besuch des Morgenmarktes war er sehr hilfreich, da er als Einheimischer bessere Preise aushandeln konnte. Dafür muss man übrigens früh aufstehen, er geht nur bis acht. Besonders toll: Kadek und seine Frau haben uns zu einer traditionellen Tempelzeremonie mitgenommen. Das Essen in den umliegenden Resorts, vor allem im Shambala war fantastisch und sehr günstig. Aber auch für die Selbstversorgung ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Zimmer wie aus 1001 Nacht. Ilhu ist wahrlich eine Perle und kam jeden Morgen für eine äußerst gründliche Reinigung und der Fahrer Gede ist zuverlässig und hat uns sicher überall hingebracht. Besser hätten wir es uns wirklich nicht vorstellen können!

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit lieben Menschen, die sich sehr zuverlässig um unsere Anliegen gekümmert haben. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und liegt in einem tropischen Garten am Meer. Komang und seine Familie hat sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Wir haben die Ruhe und den Garten sehr genossen. Das Essen kann von einem Restaurant geliefert werden oder es gibt die Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke für Alles!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay! Justin’s place was everything I hoped for and more! The space looks exactly like the photos and descriptions—beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. You can really tell that Justin put a lot of care into the details, from the high-quality furniture to the stylish decorations. Justin himself was an incredible host—super friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to help us arrange things like the floating breakfast, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoying delicious food in the pool while surrounded by peaceful rice fields in the early morning was truly magical. He was also kind enough to lend us his scooter for practice, which we really appreciated—even though I ended up not using it in the end, it was still a very generous gesture. Overall, our stay exceeded all expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend Justin’s place to anyone visiting the area!

Yuli and Daniel have the most gorgeous space at Rumah Laplapan and it felt like such a breath of fresh air once we arrived. The views, the ducks, the peace, it's truly something you can't put a price on. As Bali tourism increases, finding hidden gems like this where you can truly escape the noise is so rare. We appreciated the kindness and care of Yuli, Wayan, and Daniel at every step and highly recommend this place as a week-long escape or romantic couple's getaway for a seasoned traveler. And don't miss out on the Crispy Chicken Waffle at Mango Cafe across the street! 5-star stay all around! We'll be back!

Superbe logement très propre avec une belle vue sur la mer et les montagnes… Plage à 100 mètres à pied. Made a été un hôte exceptionnel très gentil qui nous a permis d’aller faire du snorkeling via des contacts à lui.. moment magique ! Je ne peux que recommander ce logement, merci Made.

This villa was an absolute gem! A cozy jungle villa that feels like home nestled in nature with the soothing sounds of the jungle all around. The outdoor tub with hot water was a dream, especially since that’s becoming harder to find in Bali. Honestly, I was tempted to move in! The kitchen was stunning and fully equipped for cooking, though we ended up ordering in. The property manager was super helpful and even sent a great local food recommendation that delivers. The next morning, we hopped on the motorbike and rode just five minutes to the breathtaking Goa Raja waterfall—an unforgettable experience. Tip: Bring mosquito spray or coils so you can enjoy the outdoor lounge beds in the evening We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb is in a fabulous location, easy walk to fabulous cafes, restaurants, shops and most important the beach. We always had quick responses to the couple of questions we had. We recommend staying at this quiet and clean Airbnb.

Un lieu paisible , hors du temps . À proximité des commodités et du centre ville (15/20 m à pied ) mais pourtant loin de l’agitation et du trafic bruyant . La villa Bukit Sari est un havre de paix . Luxuriant et authentique, élégant . Dont les photos ne rendent pas totale justice à la beauté des lieux . C’est encore mieux qu’en photos et c’est un bonheur d’être surpris de la sorte !!! J’y ai séjourné seule et je reviendrai sans hésiter . L’accueil s’est fait de manière très fluide et accueillant, très agréable . Un immense merci aux équipes pour leur douceur et bienveillance . Foncez-y!!

We had a wonderful stay, Made was beyond helpful and responsive. He is a wonderful host, he was responsive helped with all our questions and gave us rides everywhere we needed. He was very patient with us too because we didn’t know what we wanted to do. the villa is very private and clean. They gave us all the amenities we needed. The only thing is that there wasn’t many restaurants around and it’s not too close to the main town. It’s a 15 minute drive but besides that I highly recommend staying here. Made is a wonderful person and he made our stay special.

Mades place was perfect for me, had everything I needed and close to great places to eat, highly recommend!

Tria was a great host. she organised transport for me from the airport to the villa, and was very quick as responding to any questions I had. Iluh also made me feel right at home, and I had some great conversations with her. Tria also organised transport for me to get to my next location in Bali which was really nice of her Overall it was a great location, great stay and very thoughtful and kind people working in the villa, as well as the drivers ☺️ would recommend!

I wish I knew about Ayu’s place earlier; I would’ve stayed there a LOT longer! Breezy and home-y, this Airbnb is on the second floor with a killer view of Mount Agung—there’s plenty of visual privacy. I feel truly on vacation at Ayu’s place. As other guests noted, make sure to bring earplugs with you to Amed—pretty much none of the centrally located accommodations is immune from the combination of speeding motorcyclists, karaoke singing tourists, barking dogs, and crowing roosters.

Great spot. View can not be beat! If I was being picky, there is only AC in the bedrooms so the living area can get warm - it does have 3 ceiling fans but due to the high roof they seem to struggle a little, unless you open up the bi-fold doors which creates a beautiful breeze. Made was kind enough to go and purchase a brand new pedestal fan for us which was great. Would have extended our stay if it wasn’t booked out, was sad to leave and can’t wait to come back! Such a great location with beautiful cafes only a short bike trip 9.9/10

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich, und das Personal vor Ort stets freundlich und hilfsbereit – dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Ein paar Dinge könnten verbessert werden: Der Duschkopf war leider defekt, sodass das Wasser aus mehreren Stellen kam und das Bad beim Duschen nass wurde. Außerdem war die Unterkunft etwas schwer zu finden, da sie auf Google Maps nicht sichtbar war und es keine Beschilderung am Eingang gab. Abgesehen davon haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und die Unterkunft als sauber und erlebt. Die Umgebung war atemberaubend und der Blick auf die Berge beeindruckend. Vielen Dank nochmals für die freundliche Aufnahme!

Just to say that Andrianto’s apartment was easy to locate, clean and extremely presentable - everything that the host had advertised. Great location, excellent amenities - would highly recommend this host/apartment, and if we get the opportunity to visit Bali again we would hope to secure this apartment again. We had a great stay at Nings place, all the staff are very friendly and helpful always asking if you are comfortable, if you need anything and cleaning your room and kitchen area everyday! The room and bathroom is clean, comfortable and private. The WiFi is super fast and air-conditioner works great. The dogs are completely fine, they are clean and friendly and we loved giving them belly rubs and snacks! Cling Cling is super cute, this dog has my heart. Highly recommend this place, one of the best I have stayed. Thank you for everything Ning, Michael, Debbie and Ayu see you again soon!

Я оставался тут 3 недели и отлично провел время. Комната находится на втором этаже здания. Очень просторная, в нее поступает много дневного света. Есть отдельный уголок для гардероба, отдельная отличная душевая, кухня, терраса и общий бассейн внизу. Интернет быстрый, проблем не было. Удобное рабочее место для работы с ноутбуком. Кондиционер работает тихо, поддерживает комфортную температуру. Локации лучше нет, Умалас - 5 минут на байке, Чангу 10-15 минут, Семиньяк/Кута - 10-15 мин. Рядом много кафе, залов. Отдельно хочу отметить дружелюбных хозяев, которые внимательно относились к любой просьбе, дали рекомендации в плане мест. В плане шума, мне показалось шумно только в первый день, когда локалы устроили рядом жесткую тусню с музыкой. В остальное время были слышны только немного петухов утром и живность типа лягушек в лесу)) что для Бали нормально. Дом вдали от основных дорог, поэтому байки если и ездят, то очень редко, слабо слышны и не раздражают. Спасибо за приём!

I loved my stay in this nest in the heart of Penestanan. It felt authentic to live within a Balinese compound while at the same time being in a bubble of comfort and beauty. The location is excellent. If you know Penestanan a bit, it cannot be better. Right at the heart of the neighborhood. Love the vibe there. The space is both functional and nicely decorated (the bedroom door is wonderful!). I truly enjoyed being there for 3 nights. I recommend this place and would come back again.

Great place to stay, good central location, daily breakfast and friendly team

I stayed at Baobab Villas for a month and had a really great time there. The place is super cozy, clean, stylish and comfortable. The location is quiet, peaceful and convenient (easy to get to Canggu and Kuta beach alike). The property manager, security guards and the cleaning staff are super nice and chill, it was always pleasant communicating with them. Highly recommend the place and would stay there again.

Really nice little apartment in Ubud, tucked away from the main road so no traffic noises, surrounded by nature. The pool is a dream, the bed was comfy and overall I felt at home here. The staff are absolute sweethearts and the room was made up daily. Overall would recommend. :)
