We had amazing time at Desaka villa. It’s perfectly located — where is lot’s to do around, but it’s pretty calm. Host was always responsive and friendly, we felt very special. I definitely recommend this place. There is only one caveat — a lot of harmless ants. We found it cute, but it’s worth considering.

The house was awesome and the most spacious place we have ever stayed at! The pool was amazing to come home to in the evening after long days at the beach! The host Ayu is simply a beautiful person inside and out! She really is a warm and friendly as they come ! Andrew was the most responsive host we have ever had prior to our trip which was very reassuring coming to a foreign country with my family. We loved nearby beaches and had a great time in the area!!! Thank you to the hosts!

My partner and I had a great stay here. The rooftop pool was great, food was delicious including free breakfast, lots to do in the area with restaurants and clubs and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Cute boutiques for shopping also! The only negatives are the beds are not very comfortable and the hotel is a 45 minute drive from Canggu beach so I wouldn’t recommend if that’s where you’d like to spend a lot of time. But over all the listing is accurate and worth the price. We would stay again. :)

The Nautilus is a truly amazing place. Just like the photos, set in rice fields and lush tropical vegetation, well situated outside of Ubud. We arrived v. late but someone was there to show us around and take our breakfast order! All bedrooms have mosquito nets and aircon with ensuite bathrooms. The house, inc the bathrooms is very open air (apart from the bedrooms). Only my bathroom had a bamboo blind for privacy, the other 2 bathrooms could have benefited from them, though this is my only negative comment. It is very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Lots of geckos but few mosquitos. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ana's agent Dharma was very helpful in arranging the best driver, Jero Yassa who really made our trip successful, so kind and knowledgeable. Ubud is not the peaceful retreat it once was (it has a Starbucks!) but the house is ideally situated for all sightseeing east, north or west and the palace is still wonderful. Would highly recommend this house.

Down a paved track, the furthest villa from the main road, in the depths of the rice field you will find the tranquil setting. We were there to unwind and really recharge our batteries. The aim was fulfilled. Close enough to Ubud to do the things you wish to do. We ate in and out of the villa. Breakfast was included which was eggs, fruit, juice and toast. The Villa kept tidy and clean every day. We also had a lady come in and cook us 3 evening meals during our stay. All authentic Balinese style which was flavoursome. Villa was perfect for 2 or 4 people. Plenty of seating areas. If you do not like bugs or lizards not the place for you as you are so close to the rice fields and forest. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed ourselves in the beautiful setting.

Astonishing Two Bedroom Jungle Villa 5 min to Ubud

Lovely stay at a quiet and peaceful villa north of Ubud center. Everything was very clean and the staff came and tidied up nearly every day. They were incredibly helpful with any and every need from food to transportation to recommendations for activities. Despite being more away from the city center it was easy to get into town. Only downside was the prevalence of bugs but that’s an obvious trade off for a kitchen in an outdoor nature setting. And the staff cleanings really helped with that. The nature around was really beautiful and you could hear the river below the whole time.
