Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

Peaceful yet centrally located. Private terrace, bathroom and kitchen. King-size bed for a great night's sleep. In 7 minutes on foot, you can reach the train station and the center of Wattwil. Right in front of the apartment are hiking trails that will lead you, for example, to the Waldbach waterfall. If you stay on the Jakobsweg, you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Lake Zürri or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten by car, as well as the Thur Waterfalls and more. There is space for your car as well as for bikes.

The landlord couple lives in the ground floor apartment, chickens, ducks, geese, cats live around the house.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a living area of around 125 m² surrounded by nature. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Experience and inhabit paradise

Charming pavilion with double bed (box spring bed) and bathroom. To heat the cottage, light the heating fireplace. Cozy warmth is guaranteed! In summer, there is also a dormitory available in the barn, for example for families. A kitchen is available about 20 meters from the cottage. On request, we can provide breakfast for an extra charge of CHF 13 per person, which must be paid in advance, as we have unfortunately had bad experiences.

The apartment is located in a quiet, elevated location with a view of the Fers. We live 100 meters away and manage our farm. There is an opportunity to observe our animals and get a glimpse of a farm. On site there are many hiking opportunities to cozy alpine inns and beautiful viewpoints.
