Glückstadt, the gem on the Elbe, is centrally located in Schleswig-Holstein. From here, both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as the Hamburg metropolitan region, can be reached in a short time. Among other things, Glückstadt is located on the Elbe Cycle Route as well as on the Mönchsweg and is also a worthwhile vacation destination for cycling tourists. Our apartment is located outside the city center. On foot you can reach it in about 20 minutes along the idyllic Fleth to the harbor, the jetty, the dike or the market square.

The "Little Kate" with the thatched cottage and the garden house is located on an approximately 10,000 square meter property. Meadows, moor areas, old trees, form the surroundings. The floor space is approximately 50 square meters. The room is between 2.2 m in the conservatory and 4.6 m in the dining area. A wooden ladder leads to the sleeping level. The bed is (2 x 1.4) m. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be used on the first floor. The house was completely renovated in 2019. An approx. 35 sqm terrace is included.

When you are looking for a real quiet and relaxing resort, sou will love to live in our wonderful old barn house neatly renovated from an architect loving old houses and modern technique (that is me). You can enjoy a real large TV, (incl. BluRay-Player etc.) Internet and a cosy fire place. Dive into nature below old oak and ash trees, wake up with happy bird chirp and watch hare, pheasants and deer walk by the huge glass doors in front of the kitchen and living room.

Northwest of Hamburg in beautiful Schleswig Holstein is our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with stove, oven and refrigerator, a shower room and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Beautiful one-room apartment in the historic center. On the property of the naturopathic practice, we have renovated a small half-timbered house. Five minutes' walk into nature. Disconnect from everyday life, come to rest and find yourself, relaxation for body and mind. Movement is life, a hike, a bike trip, or a walk, just enjoy. This stylish thatched cottage from 1744 is perfect for 4 adults + up to 4 children. Of course, alternatively, 6 adults will find enough space in the 3 bedrooms. There is also a sleeping berth with a 160 bed. On the first floor, in addition to the spacious kitchen, dining room, bathroom with toilet, study, toilet, living room, there is also the 1st bedroom. The mezzanine invites you to chill and read. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms and the sleeping berth.

The proximity to the Falkensteiner Ufer allows direct access to the Elbe and offers a magnificent view of the passing ships.

Horst's time out

My time-out Horst stands for real picture book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the tranquility, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you will find a real beach with great gastronomy From about May to autumn. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. All relevant shopping facilities are about 1.6-2 km away. In about 3 km. Distance is the train stop. A car is useful here!
