Altefähr - seaside resort on Rügen on the Strelasund

The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

The small guest apartment in the The ground floor of our single-family home is in a prime location in Stralsund with a view of the Strelasund and the island of Rügen and direct access to the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path. It is a one-room apartment with a bathroom and a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and a fully automatic coffee machine. The apartment is comfortably furnished and spacious thanks to the cabinet bed, which can be folded up during the day. A baby crib is provided upon request.

This "penthouse" apartment is located in one of the prettiest corners of the old city center of the historic Hanse city of Stralsund (and UNESCO World Heritage site). It stretches over the two top floors just under the red-tile-covered roof of a house built sometime around 1760 over foundations from 1300. Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

The Muscheltaucher vacation home (80 sqm) is a thatched-roof house with underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, and a sauna (built in 2020). It offers upscale, tasteful, and cozy furnishings. A heat pump provides heating and hot water (green electricity from EWS Schönau). Wi-Fi and Netflix are provided free of charge. Animal-free non-smoking house. Not suitable for small children: The bedroom is on the upper floor and is only accessible via stairs without a safety gate.

"Stralsund" has a separate entrance and a size of 65 m². A parking space is available right in front of the house. It is very quiet, only neighboring traffic (branch road). It is located 5 km north of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. It is only 6 km to the nearest guarded swimming spot (Stadtbad Stralsund).
