Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Kou-Kamma

Before I review this beautiful residence, I have to say a word about Emmie and Willie. They are the sweetest, kindest couple, you will ever wish to meet. Not only kind, but also very smart. Emmie being an artist, among other things, and Willie, a master builder, and a rugby fanatic! We have been fortunate enough, to have visited this beautiful area a few times, but this time it was special. Emmie and Willie’s home, is perched way above the town of Knysna, with a gorgeous view, that spreads for miles. There are 4 bedrooms down below Emmie and Willie’s living quarters, with a private entrance. Ample room for a group or a large family, to stay. You have everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable, including a refrigerator, microwave, cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer. This place really is the real deal, and your home, away from home! To top it off, they have a gorgeous dog, named Mia. We had a blast at Carens place walking distance from the lagoon, close to town. Great restaurants. Beautiful house with everything you need to have a good time.

If you're looking for a place in Plett for a family holiday with young kids (ours are 9 & 6) then this is a superb house. Nice safe and peaceful complex, communal areas are clean, the pools are great, and the house has everything you need. BUT please note the 3rd outside bedroom is actually tiny. It's a double bed, right up against the wall. My parents (Granny and Granddad) also joined us and no way they could use that as a bedroom. They can't climb over each other to get out of bed! So they moved into the 2nd bedroom and our kids slept on mattresses on the floor for 10 nights. The outside room is perfect for 1 teenager/adult. The house is well equipped, and lots to do on rainy days. It definitely needs some TLC and in need of a modernization but overall a good family holiday house in Plett.

Großes Haus mit vielen Zimmer. Toller Garten, mit riesigen Sonnendeck, Pool & Hot-Tub. Die Unterkunft und Einrichtung weißt natürlich einige Gebrauchsspuren auf, das ist aber vollkommen OK und alles im Rahmen des Erwartbaren. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem sehr steilen Hügel und ist vom Ortskern (Supermarkt, Restaurants, etc.) eigentlich nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen - für uns war das aber kein Problem, dafür hat man nämlich einen grandiosen Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen. Max

Cindy's place is great, with a wonderful outdoor entertainment and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Cindy was quick to reply to any queries or requests for assistance. Thanks Cindy!

We had an amazing stay. Tess (the host) was phenomenal and continuously ensured our stay was good. The staff on site are very polite and always had a smile on their face. They were also very respectful when they come in to clean or when we needed anything. Well worth our stay.

This has to be the best house we have ever stayed in. The house all the amenities and amazing attention to detail. Incredible views, every appliance you need and responsive host, worth every cent. Definitely coming back.

Fantastic house. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Fantastic kitchen , lounge , tv room , lots of spacious decks and lounge furniture. Great garden and pool. right opposite the beach.

Thesen Island is a great place to stay…..safe , secure and within easy reach of local amenities. Lianne was an excellent host, always on hand to answer any questions and help make our stay most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

A wonderful 3 nights at Russel's place in Knysna. Superb location and a stunning house. Russel was so helpful & quick to respond to us. He helped make arrangements at the boatyard and was super thoughtful leaving wood for the fire & even a complimentary bottle of wine! Thank you very much for a fantastic stay.

Tashas place is a real gem! We have never stayed anywhere like this before and it was fab. The cabin is minimalist but clean and comfortable. The other amenities such as the hot tub, sofa looking over the view and Braai are all great. It was easy to uber to town and all instructions were very clear. Tasha is also fantastic so would love to stay again!

What a beautiful oasis 😍 peaceful, relaxing and a real cabin feel! We went there to do some wedding planning and were greeting by a beautiful personalized board and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was a huge hit as well, we braved it at night and it was a perfect addition to the forest feel of the cabin. Liesl could not have executed the interior design any better, evey time you look around you see a new small detail of thought and care. Cannot wait for our next trip to Knysna, we will definitely be back!

The place was lovely, the surroundings of the mountains, sunrise and moonrise was amazing. Peaceful getaway in the mountains. We will definitely go again

Beatrice provided a beautiful stay, a home away from home. She was very proactive with messages and checked we had got in safe etc ☺️ the setting is beautiful with good security and activities for younger kids. Knysna is within walking distance but we chose to drive for personal reasons but everything was easy enough to find. The complex is very peaceful and we enjoyed the space so much!
