We had a fantastic stay! Nobu was an incredibly gracious and accommodating host — always quick to respond and willing to help with anything. When we weren’t sure where my girlfriend’s brother was after arriving in town, Nobu kindly called the hotel to help us find him. He even left us a thoughtful gift at the end of our stay and reimbursed us some yen due to a previous guest’s accident, which showed great care and honesty. The apartment was spotless, neatly organized, and comforting — peaceful and quiet, away from the busy crowds. It had everything we needed: a full kitchen, utensils, washer/dryer, and super easy check-in. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the train station. Getting to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other areas in Tokyo was quick and easy. There were lots of places to eat nearby, and a 7-Eleven just down the alley. Highly recommend this stay over a hotel!

31sqm Kuramae Asakusa Station 4 min (Non Smoking)

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great place that has a front desk. Staff is super nice and responsive. About a 7 min walk to Kuramae station (which we used quite a bit) and 12 min from Asakusa station (which we used to get a direct train to Narita airport). The room is very clean and has a washer/dryer which was very useful on the last leg of our trip. It was also pretty quiet so if noise bothers you, this is a good choice. Beds were comfortable and it was perfect space for 2 people (although im sure you can make more fit). All in all, great experience and would definitely stay here when we are back in Tokyo again. Thank you!

Hiro-san went above and beyond as a host! He greeted us when we arrived and walked through the home, amenities, and general expectations for us as guests. Whenever there was a question, Hiro-san would answer promptly. He was especially helpful in helping us coordinate delivering our luggage to Narita Airport through Kuroneko Yamato. The house was perfect for us (three families of 6 adults and 4 children total) with a bathroom on each floor, which was SO helpful. We frequented the many restaurants and convenient stores in the area. We were near the local grocery store (OK Store Minamisuna) and really enjoyed the Minamisuna Ryokudō Park walkway to get there--so scenic with lots of trees. Overall, a very nice and quiet neighborhood! The house was also close to both train stations (15 minute walk), so this was great when we wanted to explore others parts of Tokyo and beyond. Overall, our experience was really satisfactory with our stay at this residence. Thank you so much Hiro-san.

The place was really nice, and clean. everything was labeled in English, they had instructions on how to operate the washing machine and ac. The area was extremely nice and convenient, the station was just down the street as well as a 7/11 so it was really convenient. the hosts were really nice and responded really quickly when you had a question about something. I would most definitely come back here again.

Asakusa&Skytree 10 minutes & Airport pickup

EthanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Yoshi’s home was perfect for our group of 8 to stay in. There was plenty of space for us to relax and spread out a bit, and the rooftop views of the Skytree can’t be beat! Yoshi is a very helpful and responsive host, and even recommended some of the services they offer such as rides to and from the airports, which was very convenient. The home is situated well in a quiet neighborhood, and is close to a bus stop, the Asakusa and Ginza train lines, and has a good number of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Checking in and out was simple, and Yoshi even allowed us to store our luggage for a couple hours after checkout time since we had later flights. I am very happy with my stay!

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

120 ㎡, Luxurious Japanese Style in Tokyo, Free Cultural Experience, Jacuzzi

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Truly unforgettable. The

Ryogoku Station 4 minutes/Japanese tatami mat house, newly built/Maximum 6 people/Excellent sightseeing access!

The apartment is quite new and everything you need is there . It is fully equipped with AC. It’s very convenient that they have a trash container outside the house as it’s Japan it s often complex to handle that. The train station is close by 10’ walking but it s even more convenient to take the bus number 33 which is close by 5’ walking and can take you to other main stations/place. I would definitely come back there if I visit Tokyo again. Thanks

Easy check in, Nice quiet place with large common area. They asked us to clean and put back all dishes along with taking our own garbage down to sorting room to dispose of it ourselves. This wasn't an issue but seemed unusual as it was the only airbnb out of the 7 we stayed with in Japan that had such rules and we were still paying a cleaning fee.

4 minutes to Shinjuku: New Tokyo Apartment 502

Charmi n HarshRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We really enjoyed Aileen’s place for the 6 nights we stayed and we really found the Nakano station very convenient being on the Chuo Rapid line we could get to Shinjuku in 5 minutes. And from there we had several connecting lines to travel anywhere within Tokyo. The space in the apartment was lavish compared to the cramped Tokyo hotel rooms and we could easily have all our luggage in the living room. The deck was an added bonus as it has some spectacular sunset views. Overall a wonderful place to be in a quiet area but close to the action.
