We loved our stay here! It was the perfect spot for a reunion weekend with our four families. Cheryl was very accommodating with our check in times and extra little people. The house was beautiful, such a homey beach vibe. The backyard was perfect for the kids to play in and us adults to lay in the sun. Walking distance to a beautiful beach with an inlet being a great play space for kids. The surfers in our group raved about the Arrawarra waves. We’re all keen to make booking this house a yearly tradition!

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

A very comfortable, warm & friendly home. Fully equiped with everything you would need, kitchen, linen, towels. It was just like being in your own home. Hop & a skip to the beautiful, pet friendly beach, excellent eateries 7 mins away at Woolgoolga, 15 mins to the Heart of Coffs, and the Jetty (one of my new favourite places) Markets….. it was the best stay, even with the rain………….. thank you Stumpy & Kerrie, we really hope to be coming back and enjoying your lovely home again soon, JO :-😊, Kobe & Nelly Nelly Noo Noo x

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqui and Peter’s place. The view is amazing and it’s lovely to be able to hear the ocean. There house was easily accessible to the main town of Scott’s head and it was well equipped for kids. We will definitely be back again!

Our stay at Casa Bonita Wooli was fantastic, cute little beach house right on the beach with amazing views. Beautifully appointed with well equipped kitchen and luxurious linen. Check in was easy and communication with hosts was excellent. Definitely recommend for a quiet beach getaway.

Ginger is a beautiful property in a stunning location on the Coffs Coast. Alan met us and showed us around and was very friendly and helpful. The property was perfect for us and the two dogs were very comfortable and catered to also. I would definitely come back.

We had a fantastic stay! Very spacious family home with a great pool and bbq area. Shops and beach are both very close to the property and easy to walk to. Will definitely be staying again next time we are in Coffs Harbour!!!

From the moment we arrived, this beautiful home felt like a true haven. It was incredibly warm and welcoming – not just in décor, but in atmosphere. Everything was thoughtfully set up to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable for the whole family. The location is absolutely perfect – close to everything, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. The house was immaculately clean and exceptionally well-equipped, with every detail considered. There were toys and games for the kids, plus loads of outdoor equipment including tennis rackets, surfboards, scooters, a beach cart - everything we could possibly need for endless fun! We loved the outdoor area overlooking the pool. It was the ideal spot to relax, soak up the sunshine, and watch the kids play. The host was an absolute standout – so friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating. Libby went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and her warmth made us feel like welcome guests. Hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had!

We had a perfect stay in Lauren & Andy’s cozy barn. The surroundings are full of different types of birds and fun animals. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. Everything you might need is provided. The barn is equipped with all the essentials and more. We very much recommend staying here. We’ll be back ourselves.

Valerie and Stuart’s were very friendly and their place is just lovely. It was very clean and tidy with very comfortable bed and furnishings. It was just like being at home. A light breakfast with home baked bread and home made jams was supplied. Lots of teas and coffees supplied. The dogs were very friendly and loved pats. The home is very spacious. The view is quite lovely looking over the lake and all the birds. We will return for a longer visit as one night is not enough.

Michelle and Kim are beautiful hosts and their little cottage was an amazing halfway point for our trip up to Queensland. Our son loved the animals and the it was an amazing place to just relax, enjoy some nature and get some rest before the rest of our journey. So glad we didn't stay at a hotel!

Alicia’s place was amazing! This charming back-house cabin felt like home the moment I walked in. It had everything I needed—plus thoughtful, stylish touches throughout. Alicia was incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out, and although she lives nearby, she was respectful of privacy while still checking in with great local tips. She was also super accommodating with any requests I had. The absolute highlight? Waking up to kangaroos in the driveway—truly magical. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks again!

The cabin had everything one would need plus more. Very comfortable with a bit of luxury in a superbly lush landscaped garden.

A charming home to stay at, offering privacy and nestled among stunning bushland with a lovely variety of native birds around including our favourite black cockatoos! The beds are comfortable, and the house is immaculate, equipped with most things we needed for our stay. We just needed to get firewood for our June visit as it was a bit cool during that time. Hosts are great and very helpful. House was easy to find and a short drive to Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas, gorgeous spot to visit!

The property is a beautiful bali blend and exudes the 'relaxation vibe'. Kellie keeps the property in pristine condition with a lovely sit out area and compact convenient kitchen and living space upstairs. I have no negatives about the property, but need to emphasise Kellie's listing comments about there being stairs to the kitchen and living, so if you struggle with stairs or have back issues this needs to be taken into consideration. Also, the bed is a firm mattress, which I love (but my partner prefers softer..lol). We loved that it was dog friendly and 2 minutes walk to the beach. This place is definitely worth the booking and at a reasonable price for the location, with Coffs 10 mins down the road where you have more beautiful beaches and restaurants.
