Nostalgic and cozy living room with unique location

The historic house shows the year 1773 painted on the walls. The house was originally located in the village's cluster yard and was bombed during World War II. When the farm building was erected on the farm, the remains of the house were set up as a living room until the barn and today appears as an intimate and cozy little house with lots of history and soul. All amenities are of course completely modern. The house in the middle of the valley, down towards the fjord and at the innermost part of Høgsfjorden provides an unforgettable holiday in this old living room.

This is an older cabin with simple decor and power supply with solar panel. There is a possibility to charge mobile in USB outlets. There is a fireplace with wood burning, possibility for barbecue, refrigerator, and stove/cooking with gas. There are plates, bowls, glasses, cups and cutlery, cheese slicer, and can opener. Sleeps 6, but can arrange 1 mattress on the floor in the basement if desired for the 7th person. Here your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Walking distance to Kongeparken, Norwegian Outlet, swimming areas and mountain trips. 10 minutes from Sandnes and 25 minutes from Stavanger.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.
