The entrance to the cottage is via number 9, and then follow signs “Haus Frieden”. You can enjoy peace and nature here, you only hear crickets, birds and frogs. It is lovely to sit/eat and enjoy under the porch. Across the road, you can walk into the forest where you can follow various hiking trails, usually you will not meet anyone, it is that quiet. It is nice to walk to the village Ludwigswinkel and have a nice meal or a drink there. You can also easily walk to the next village through the forest, Fischbach. Here you will also find a supermarket, bakery and a tasty doner/kebab shop.

The overnight stay at Timea's is always great.

For people who like peace and solitude, the perfect place to stay. Very nicely decorated, with everything you need. A beautiful garden with seating and reclining facilities. Petra and Hans are very good hosts. We will definitely not have been here for the last time.

We (a group of 10 young men and a dog) stayed at Christine's place for a long weekend and felt very comfortable. All communication, check-in and check-out went smoothly - Christine also accommodated us very well with an early check-out. The house and the wonderful garden are very well maintained and especially for our animal companions it was a paradise. For people looking for a break in the countryside and want to be undisturbed, this place is just the thing.

Markus is very friendly and communication with him went smoothly. The house is spacious and very clean. It has a beautiful big roof terrace.

The check-in was extremely flexible and we were received in a very friendly manner. The place was clean and well appointed. I was particularly pleased about the magazines provided and the coffee pads with UHT coffee cream – a great little touch, especially because we were passing through by bike and didn't have much with us.

We had a very nice week in a well maintained and clean cottage. The landlord gave us a little instruction and tips for the surrounding area. Everything is actually as described. Everything has been thought of... even detergent, garbage bags, dishwashing tablets, etc., I was able to take away. It was all there. The townhouse is lovingly and relatively highly furnished. The property is very well maintained. Under the week it is nice and quiet, on weekends there are many residents and guests on the lake. It is very noisy and sometimes a bit noisy. Overall, it was pure relaxation... quiet breakfast at the lake, bathing in the afternoon in the afternoon in the water of about 25 degrees and great sunsets in the evening. We did smaller bike rides. It is pleasantly flat around. You are in 20 min. by bike in Schwetzigen at the castle park or even in just 10 min. on the Rhine island times look at ships. We were happy to eat at Johanneshof, organic everything very tasty and fresh.... no 10 min. by bike. It was a great week... maybe we'll see you again... THANK YOU :)

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious house! The home was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone, and the pool was a fantastic bonus that made our stay even more special. It had all the necessities and amenities we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and common areas. Rebecca was a phenomenal host—she was quick to respond to any questions we had and went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Stefanie and her husband were very friendly and sociable. The surroundings are quiet and secluded. The place is very close to nature. The floors, gardens and the spiral staircase are unsecured for toddlers but with the railings are well doable for slightly older children.
