We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

I already miss this house. It’s like a fairytale cottage. So many cute little spaces indoors and out. Character and charm! It’s old with stone steps and some low doorways, so don’t be clumsy. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. There are many flowers, herbs and trees. Unforgettable.

The apartment is a small cottage, almost right on the beach. The immediate neighbor is a tavern with friendly and helpful staff. The apartment is very harmonious and comfortably furnished. Nothing is missing, everything is sparkling clean - as a welcome greeting there was fresh fruit and raki. Parking was right outside the door. We felt very comfortable. Thanks to the host.

We felt very comfortable. The property is in a great location. Restaurants and the beach can be reached by river. Parking is free in front of the apartment. We were always able to reach the host and he gave us good tips. We would always come back.

A really lovely place for rest and relaxation. We had booked the lower house, much smaller than the main house but perfect for 2 people. Everything was super clean and we felt at home straight away. The view is fantastic and the houses -despite their modernity- fit perfectly into the classic landscape . We always had the shared pool to ourselves and as all three houses are built with so much privacy, you usually have the feeling of being the only guest on the property. It's the perfect place to soak up the south of Crete. And no matter whether we had minor or major problems, Antigone and Emmett were available for us and always immediately tried to find solutions or suggested alternatives for us. You can tell that they both care a lot about you having a good time in their house in Sivas.

We were with Alexis and Nikolette at the beginning and at the end. It really is a beautiful place where you feel very comfortable. Everything is lovingly designed. My wife and I loved our stay. The villa was clean and tidy, it was super easy to get into upon out late arrival as well. Our hosts were easy to contact and made sure we had a great stay. Because of unforeseen circumstances, we only had one day in Crete. This was the perfect place to stay. It was centrally located. It was beautiful and comfortable.

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

Fantastic stay, right on the beach! Photos very similar to reality, with all the amenities available! It is on the promenade, very close to several restaurants, a supermarket and the historic center, you can do everything on foot, within walking distance. Fotis was super helpful and gave very clear instructions. We wanted to stay longer!!! 5*

The photos do not do this beautiful place justice. The flowers and greens are so bright, and you have a view of mountains and the sea. Tina is incredibly kind and accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. She sent me home with some wonderful herbs from her garden - they smell amazing! She also treated me to some homemade Cretan cake she baked at the start of my trip. As a solo traveller, this was incredibly special and I am so grateful to her. Driving around the area is fantastic with so many beaches and hikes in the surrounding area. The space is very clean and comfortable! I hope to one day return.

I would highly recommend this apartment. I spent four weeks in it and I felt very comfortable. I had also been sick and Manos and his mother took care of me and even put a meal or two in front of the door. Thank you very much for this hospitality. The beautiful and long sandy beach is 5 minutes away. Restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. Thank you for this wonderful break.

We stayed in the apartment for a few nights. It was perfect, the kitchen was very well equipped and you could actually cook (never experienced this before), the beach location great, the contact with Zabia extremely friendly and uncomplicated. There were cute cats that visited us on the large roof terrace. We would definitely recommend the place.

The views of the port are absolutely gorgeous!! The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. You feel right at home. Alex himself is super responsive and easy to communicate with. He was there to greet us when we arrived and provided many helpful recommendations. It is very easy to walk to shopping and great restaurants. Dinner at Peskesi and Apiri are a must. If you want to go further there's always a taxi waiting at the roundabout just outside. The airport, Knossos palace and many beaches are all only 10 minutes away. Sailing excursions leave right from the port.

We had an exceptional stay at Tasos's. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos, with breathtaking sea views. The private jacuzzi is a real plus, offering incomparable moments of relaxation. The apartment is perfectly equipped, everything is thought of for your comfort. In addition, you are within 10 minutes' walk of Agia Beach and the best restaurants in the area, ideal for enjoying the area. Tasos is a very attentive and responsive host, who does everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. You can book without so much so so, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Don't forget to feed the little cat in the residence, it's absolutely adorable. 😉

The apartment is very pleasant : clean, modern, spacious and perfectly equipped. The small balcony and roof terrace are a real plus and add to the apartment's charm. Erietta and Manolis provide numerous recommendations for discovering Heraklion and its best addresses, which is particularly appreciated. Very responsive and attentive, they ensure that everything runs smoothly. An excellent experience, which I recommend without hesitation!

Christina’s studio is impeccable, walking distance from the city center. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Close to the beach. Parking available. Apartment has everything you might need. Helpful host. Everything within walking distance, car is only needed for day trips. Nice toys for the kids. The only downside is that it is located next to a busy road with the necessary noise.

Kostis’ apartment is cozy, clean and extremely well located. The terrace is spectacular, offering great views of the ocean and an amazing sunset. We truly appreciated Kostis’ hospitality, always one step ahead of our needs with timely communication and great local recommendations.
