Vacation rentals with beach access in Kokkinos Pirgos

We loved it! A couple of suggestions: Would be helpful to tell guests that they will park behind the building and enter the apartment from the back, not the front of the building.. Would be nice to have a lounge chair for the balcony.

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

Outstanding location, many place to eat and shop. It’s steps away from the beach and the roof top patio is spacious and beautiful. Lots of public transit but we chose to rent a car to enjoy the whole island. Would highly recommend this apartment. Host was very helpful.

Everything was as expected. Nice and responsive host, the place was clean with all the facilities as described. The location was a key issue for us - in the middle between Heraklion and Chania. We could easily explore all the interesting places on the island. I recommend Nikos place for everybody visiting Crete

We had the pleasure of staying in Rena's apartment from 5/26 to 6/2/25 and it was a fantastic experience! The apartment was as described but the view from the terrace also exceeded expectations! Unfortunately, we were unable to meet Rena in person, but she was always available for all our requests. She had warned us in advance that the village market would still be closed, so we could stock up on groceries before arriving, but she still made sure we had everything we needed in the house (thank you again!). In the house, there are all kinds of useful accessories for the kitchen, but also some thoughtful touches that I have never found on other occasions! The road to this small village is quite winding, but we felt so good there that we only moved once. There are 2/3 beaches (where we were often alone) reachable by a nice walk in the middle of nowhere breathing the scent of oregano! We hope to be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was an excellent host. He welcomed us with a warm pastry, fresh fruits, wine and bottled water. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We had a car and having our own parking space was fantastic. We traveled to different areas of the island and it was a convenient home base. Giannis gave us several recommendations from restaurants to beautiful beaches, and they were all great. We especially enjoyed the terrace. It has a beautiful view of the sea and it is very peaceful. We watched the sunrise a few mornings and it was breathtaking. A highlight of the stay was Hamlet, Giannis dog! He was there to welcome us and visited us daily. We would not hesitate to stay there again. It is a beautiful place and you won’t be disappointed.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time in Kalamaki. The place was perfect for us. We enjoyed the sea view every day with sunsets and the tranquility. The short distance to the beach, restaurants or supermarket was also brilliant. Communication was perfect from start to finish. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet but ingenious location, this is the place to be. We can definitely recommend the hosts.

Absolutely fantastic place with a breathtaking location. The hosts were so friendly and made sure that we were happy throughout our stay, offering assistance when needed. We were sad to leave and would love to stay again.

The house was modern and comfortable. The pool was amazing - such a relaxing spot to unwind. We were surrounded by beautiful olive trees and stunning views, which made the atmosphere feel peaceful and special. And one of our favorite parts was the grill area. We loved spending evenings cooking and dining outdoors.

A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

Nikos' place was fantastic for what we were looking for, which was a stunning view and a novel atmosphere (it's built into an actual cave or niche within the cliff.) Be aware that there are a LOT of stairs to walk up, so it's not for the infirm, but Nikos was super-helpful, meeting us in the parking lot and helping us bring our bags upstairs.

The apartment is faithful to the description, a functional and cozy house, furnished with excellent taste. Separate kitchen, possibility of cooking outdoors and outdoor space that enhances the holiday even more. The real added value. Host always available to our requests for information. Ideal location to stay and visit this area of Crete

This place is amazing! Cleopatra received us in person, with gifts for us. She introduced us to the accommodation with passion, took us to the charming little square of the village, explained the various activities and surrounding spots. the view from THE terraces is breathtaking (bird 's-eye view of the sea from the heights). the house is perfectly equipped, there is more bathroom than bedrooms. The geographical location is ideal for visiting the entire south center area of the island, which we seek calm and authenticity. for typical and cheap dishes, appointment at the Platia taverna on the small charming square of the village. Too bad we can only give 5 stars maximum! We'll come back, I promise.

If you wish to experience a secluded garden by a non-travelled beach, almost like your own access to the sea, that is the place. A very good taverna is few meters away. Nothing best to let stress, driving, movida and consumerism behind one's shoulders for some days. Dimitri and his family have created a heaven of peace and a beautiful garden. The holiday-house from their parents is still decorated like in the 80s, but all the essentials are there. The generous welcoming, with a large basket of fruit, olive oil and salad from the herb garden, complete the feeling of coming home. Efkaristò! Many thanks! Rossella

The place is stylishly furnished, very clean and has everything you need to feel good. The furnishings are of good quality and suitably coordinated. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The lawn was well maintained and we often sat outside in nice weather. Maria and Chris are very dedicated hosts and we were delighted with all the edible treats. We especially liked the good capsule coffee machine. The location of the apartment was great for us. In a small, non-tourist village at the foot of the mountains, everything was provided for us for sports and relaxation and we were able to explore the Cretan culture well. Faneromeni also has a mini-market. It was our favorite place to stay during our 2-week stay in Crete. You can tell that even small things are taken care of, which we have not experienced at any other accommodation. We would come back in a second.

Kalamaki was inviting and beautiful. At the end of winter season, most of the locals were spiffing up their places, painting and making repairs in preparation for the busy summer ahead. We felt like the only tourists there! What a privilege to visit this lovely seaside town!

10/10 Eleni is so sweet and helpful dont be afraid to text her for ANY support. The only thing I would say is if u struggle with stairs this may not be the best for you as it at the top of a hill that u need stairs for walking. If u have a car though that wont be an issue for you :)

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

I really enjoyed my stay at Alex's place - clean, conveniently located and just as described on the photos. The swing on the terrace and a few other nice little touches made my stay extra pleasant. Communication with Alex was always easy, quick and very helpful and I look forward to staying here again on future visits.

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Anna was very welcoming and sweet. Every day, a small gift awaited us outside the door. Very quiet place with a lovely view of the bay.

Marianna’s place was great - we had a very pleasant time there. The view over the Mediterranean Sea is stunning, and the location is easy to access. Her mum, Sonia, kindly made us a local pie upon arrival, and she was so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and it’s only about 20 minutes to the Heraklion city centre. Highly recommended!
