Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

10 minutes by car/20 minutes by bike from city center Hoorn, and 35 minutes from downtown Amsterdam. Public transportation is close by and takes you all over The Netherlands (with night bus to and from Amsterdam). This is a newly renovated, waterfront, private home with an amazing view and offers rest, nature, lots of coziness by the fireplace and plenty of activities in surrounding cities. Along bike and walk trails, swimming, kayak rental, Winery and coffee/beer houses. Come enjoy it all...

Cozy home by the (swimming) water, dogs also welcome

My cozy house was built in 1946 and is located near the village church of the 500-year-old Oudendijk. The backyard is enclosed with fences on both sides. The garden faces south and is on a canal where you can swim. Enjoy the view and the tranquility! (60 cm high fences are available to place as a barrier between the garden and the dock if necessary) Upstairs, in addition to a bedroom with a four-poster bed, there is an extra room with a stretcher. There is also a digital piano here.

Are you looking for a place for a minimum of 2 nights? Camper for up to 3 adults on private premises. You have a small terrace with an outdoor fireplace/BBQ. Incl. mattress/cover, pillows/case. You only need to bring your own duvet/sleeping bag (duvet can be rented for 7.50 p.p.). Mini-fridge, kettle, crockery, cooling fan, heater, cooking facilities with 2-burner gas stove with a sink with a water tap, parking, and a beautiful view. Toilet and shower are in the sanitary building.
