The apartment is located very close to city palace, ~ 5 mins walk. The view from the rooftop and the living room, especially at night is amazing. The apartment is spacious and has good amenities. Prabhu, the caretaker, is extremely helpful and provided exceptional service. Definitely recommend the place.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of five on our very first outing together, and this experience couldn’t have been more perfect. The host Nirmalaji was incredibly helpful, courteous, and always had a warm smile to greet us. They were quick to respond whenever we needed assistance and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place itself has a charming vintage vibe, beautifully decorated with timeless antiques that give it so much character. Every corner felt thoughtfully arranged and inviting. It was more than just a stay—it felt like stepping into a peaceful, well-loved space. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming retreat. Most of the time we preferred to eat the the stay as the food was delicious, homely and very fairly priced. We ordered lavish dinners to homely simple lunch like khichdi and they delivered everytime. It is situated in the peaceful part of Udaipur and places to visits are at 10-15 mins distance which was perfect for us.

The hosts created this incredibly beautiful home in the heart of old town Udaipur very convenient for visits to palace and other sights and shopping in the old town markets. Everything is up to Western standard and the aesthetics is stunningly gorgeous! Wow The caretaker, Mr. Bhagwati and his wife speaks excellent English and was most helpful in coordinating everything, including transportation, booking of dinners and suggestions of sites to see. They even bought groceries for me to make food at home. It was lovely to have a functional kitchen and ample living room space to lounge in. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite and the terrace provided great view of the old city Neighborhood and sunny spots to relax in and have breakfast provided and made by the caretakers every morning ! It was great to have laundry facilities as well. We stayed 12 days in total and thoroughly enjoyed living in old town at Smiling sparrow ! Thank you for creating such a comfortable and beautiful home

Incredible stay in Udaipur! So many great things about this stay. We booked this stay for a corporate off-site. First, Mega is a superhost - she is extremely responsive and helpful from the beginning - from when we booked to when we arrived to throughout our stay. She even left us snacks and starters when we came in - so thoughtful! Second, the location is impeccable - in the heart of Udaipur, overlooking the beautiful lakes, everyone commented on how incredible the location was. It was very accessible to everything - all walkable. Third, the house & suites itself were amazing - the rooms were spotless clean, very modern yet well decorated with traditional Rajasthani feel. The beds were large & clean, and bathrooms as well. Each suite is very well designed. Fourth, the views and general feel of the place was incredible - the outdoor space, the balconies, etc - really allowed us to enjoy the full view and enjoy our trip to Udaipur! Look forward to being back here - thanks Megha!

The photos don’t really do justice to the property. It is much better in person. Wish to visit again for longer duration.

Had a great stay, the house was perfect for group trips. Had all the amenities discussed. The pool was also clean and the whole place is vibe with it's beautiful views. The only thing to keep in mind is that the house is around 6-7km from the city center so you would need vehicle to travel around. But a really peaceful place with a great and responsive host who made our stay so worth it. If you want a peacefull stay you can't find a better place than this in Udaipur in this budget.

My family of 8 persons and a kiddo aged 4 absolutely loved the place. Initially we were a bit taken aback by the approach road, but the house itself and the care we received from the staff mitigated our little discomfort. It's very well maintained place, near and clean washrooms (with handjets), clean kitchen, clean linens, television facility, wifi, ample parking space, garden area for kid, calm surrounding, tasty food and much more. I would specially like to mention the caretakers who went and extra mile to ensure our comfort. Overall we had great stay at Monika's place. Highly recommended. Had amazing time especially nights at Yashasvi's place. Was there with family for 2 nights, and it was exactly the same peaceful escape, we were looking for. The caretaker Chaganbhai is also much cooperative and takes good care of the guests. He is always available round the clock. Had him make breakfast there, and it was super delicious. Place was extremely clean, and peaceful, surroundings were beautiful and silent. Perfect place for people looking for a silent and self healing trip experience.

Bharat was fantastic as a host! The house was spectacular and looked exactly what the images showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and 15 min drive from the city. All good, and 100% would recommend staying here.

Very Good and Peacefull place, neat and clean Villa, very much Co-operative Host and caretaker. Only one thing, Mobile Network and Wi-Fi is very SLOW, but if you have a Jio connection then there is no problem at all. Swiggy and Zomato service is there, you can buy online, BUT Network issue can be solved by JIO only. :) Luckily, I had one. Breakfast, Luch, Dinner are available near Villa on payable basis. you can get menu and contact details from main gate. However very good experience.

Its located centerally in the old city from where all attractions are at walking distance with variety of options to explore market. I have stayed in Mr. Hussein's apartment for 4 months. It is the best location in Udaipur. 10 min walk from main drag and all the shops you need around hatipole market 1 min away. Also much quieter at night than in main centre of town. The apartment is super clean and a daily cleaning service is included. Now I have been to India many times but have never found an apartment that has more kitchen gadgets than I have at home. The apartment is also beautifully decorated and has massive TV with netflix . There are 2 balconies and a very large lovely terrace on the roof. As for our host. Well there should be a SUPER 5star category. He is always available on the phone and pops in to see if everything is all right. I lost my purse with my credit cards in and he immediately advanced me some money till I could get myself sorted. So I am looking forward to return next year because I know I am never going to find anything better.

Airport, Railway station, City bus stand are easily accessible with doorstep rides like uber/ola/rapido or local autos. Host is very helpful. He was always available on call or at the stay to guide with tourist locations and transportations.

The kitchen area is equipped with teal cabinets and a polished countertop. A seating area with a patterned bench is present, along with a dining table that can also be used as a desk. Natural light enters through the windows with mesh grilles.

We stayed four weeks and had an amazing time. We thought our apartment was in the most interesting part of town and we felt like it was exactly the right introduction to India. the rooftop terrace was especially amazing. Hussain was always responsive to any issues and he went out of his way to be helpful. We're grateful for this opportunity to feel at home in our first visit to India.
