The farm is located in the village of Tzummarum, 2 km from the Wadden Sea. Here you will find peace and greenery. Many opportunities to explore Friesland. Very spacious farmhouse with lots of living space. A large garden for outdoor play: badminton, trampoline, swings. Many sunny seating areas from the garden and rooms overlooking the meadows. Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Our luxurious dune villa 'Sela' is overlooking the Engelsman dune, one of the highest dunes of Ameland Island. When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk). Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.

As can be seen in the photos, there is a shed behind the house. This will not bother you, there is little to no movement and certainly not at night.

This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. Cozy apartment on the outskirts of the village near the sea dike with spacious south-facing balcony with beautiful views. We have this completely renovated, spacious apartment at our disposal and would like to let our guests enjoy it. Tzummarum is a cozy village and a great base for excursions to, for example, Franeker, Harlingen (Wadden Islands), Leeuwarden or the lake area. In the rural surroundings of Tzummarum, it is wonderful to cycle, hike and ride a motorcycle.

The Flower Chalet is located in one of the quietest spots of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden with beautiful views over the countryside. Around the cottage are several terraces, so you can always sit in the sun and/or out of the wind ( here on the coast it usually blows). Guests of the recreation park can use the swimming pool, the large playground or a tennis court. Unesco World Heritage The Wadden Sea is only 2 km away. I hope you feel completely at home!
