it's has been an absolute gem! really nice to get away and be completely disconnected from the world for a bit. i love how the cabin are really clean. all instructions prior to check are on point. the place is completely isolated so you hear nothing but the sound of nature. will definitely come back again we will try the winter season next time

Great cabin! Clean, comfy, and close to food and more. The property was well maintained, and the cabin was comfortable. Check in was easy and check out was a breeze. No issues, and we’d happily return.

Quiet location. Loved the goats and peacocks!

We loved Brian’s home! It was so comfortable and just what we needed! We loved the back porch, we watched the stars and loved how bright they were with the beautiful dark sky as a backdrop. What a treat after such a long drive to rest with a cup of tea. Even more special is rising to such beautiful sunshine through the beautiful windows! Brian’s place was a big beautiful blessing and boy was the sunshine extraordinary! Thank you for the delightful wine! We will definitely be back, we were planning our next trip while still inside. ❤️

The cabin was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Check in was really easy and Sharon kept us updated with weather and directions to the property. We enjoyed snowshoeing, burden, stargazing, and quiet time in the cabin. The Wi-Fi signal was great and the reading materials were plentiful and fun! Highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

In spring each year I take a solo silent retreat & this cottage was perfect for unplugging, getting away from city noise, syncing with the sun, & giving my nervous system the chance to fully relax. There's Wi-Fi if you open the bedroom window & place your phone on the sill. However, it's a wonderful opportunity for a pile of books, art projects, meditation, &--best of all--watching the weather form over the Columbia River, the trees in the wind, the animals (deer, elk, turkey, eagles), & the sunrise. I didn't leave the property at all during my week stay. Bring hiking socks/boots to walk through the wooded areas for the burrs that hitch a ride. As an extremely light sleeper, I slept peacefully without earplugs by closing the bedroom door & letting the shower sprayer hang down gently to keep it from dripping. Train & traffic sounds are faint enough to not be intrusive & I never once heard a train horn. Fantastic hike/view 15 min away at Tom McCall/Rowena area. Highly recommend!

We have been here a few times before and loved it! This was out third time staying here and it is starting to feel like home to us. Quiet, peaceful and a view of the Columbia River...what more could you want? I come here partly because of the close proximity to some great wineries, but also for the solitude. It is well-appointed and has everything we need...kitchen...sauna...hot tub...and a really nice deck out back! There is nothing quite like sitting on the deck, sipping great wine, and watching a flock of turkeys stroll by. Jodine was very accommodating when we decided to stay for a fourth day....all at the last minute, but not a problem! VERY cool ! I'm sure we will be staying here again soon. A great spot. Perfectly walkable to downtown White Salmon and all that it has to offer. Spectacular view from a short walk away. The cabin is neat and tidy and has a great kitchen.

Snowzie is an incredible communicator. I've been staying at her cabin for years. Anytime there's even the slightest issue, her response is immediate. And I always get a welcome from her, which feels great. The place itself is peaceful. You can hear the river from the windows. It's on a dead end with a gate so completely private. There are a couple other cabins but people keep to themselves. If anyone is out, they are extraordinarily friendly. Wonderful weekend getaway. Feel completely rejuvenated after my stays. Highly recommend.
