This was our second time staying at the Roost, and we loved it even more than the first time! The house has all the necessary things, plus even more! It's in a great location and the design and decoration are wonderful! We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay. Great house. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Fun town. Very short walk to great restaurants/attractions on main street in White Salmon. Lots do in the area. Had fun exploring WA side of the Gorge but easy to get to Hood River/OR attractions as well.

We have had the pleasure of staying at many amazing AirBNBs in the past however we cannot think of a more tranquil and uplifting and gorgeous property than this beautiful home. Just the simple arrival shock and wow factor with Mt Hood framed above the treeline and then opening the massive front sliders and feeling like stepping out of an old stressful life and into a new persona. And yes I admit that sounds cheesy but do yourself a favor and just go experience it for yourself and yes make sure to bring plenty provisions so that u do not have to go back into town for a couple days. And if you need to restock then it’s a lovely drive past rural farms and takes about 25 minute to White Salmon and all the amenities. And when you are ready to explore the region then go hike the Labyrinth Trail and afterwards drive to Maryhill Winery on a sunny spring day and now you know why folks love the Gorge. Just go there now. Or don’t so that we can go back ASAP to be sure.

This place is an absolute gem! Nestled up in the trees, it felt like our own little forest hideaway—peaceful and so cozy. Waking up to birdsong and sipping coffee on the balcony surrounded by trees was pure bliss. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, and everything was spotless and well-stocked with the little essentials. The farm fresh eggs were fantastic! Would definitely recommend and will try and stay again for future trips in the area!

Great place in Hood River. Very family friendly and easy to get around. It is a pretty steep walk down to town but we enjoying going down the stairs and having someone pick us all up for the trek back. Kitchen had everything we need.

My sister and I have stayed at Twin Oakes a number of times now and we just really love the gorgeous, peaceful setting. The house is clean and well appointed.

This home was very cozy and welcoming, the perfect place to relax as a family. We loved the style and comfort and had a great time playing board games around the big kitchen table. We stayed here with our pup and he enjoyed the yard and had no problems with the neighbor or their chickens.

My stay at Staci’s home was great. I was down there for work and it was so nice coming home to a warm cozy place where I could enjoy the rest of the night with my pups.

This is one of the first Airbnb stays I've experienced where I never wanted to leave! We were completely enchanted with the Columbia River Gorge and this home is the best possible way to experience the Gorge. In addition to having a stunning view of Mt. Hood, the home itself is so incredibly relaxing and architecturally jaw dropping! We were in close proximity to hiking and the Society Hotel for saunas and cold plunges. Jesse's impressive knowledge of the local wine scene greatly enhanced our introduction to the wines in the area. We would love to return! I could have read books from that backyard for the rest of my life quite happily! Thank you for hosting us!

A quiet, peaceful place in the woods with everything we needed. Comfortable and cozy. The fenced-in acreage was wonderful and the dogs had a blast exploring. This was the perfect place to get away.

Snowzie is an incredible communicator. I've been staying at her cabin for years. Anytime there's even the slightest issue, her response is immediate. And I always get a welcome from her, which feels great. The place itself is peaceful. You can hear the river from the windows. It's on a dead end with a gate so completely private. There are a couple other cabins but people keep to themselves. If anyone is out, they are extraordinarily friendly. Wonderful weekend getaway. Feel completely rejuvenated after my stays. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at this property. If you look at the photos and read the description, it's obvious that you have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the house, and you will be rewarded by beautiful river views. The house was tastefully remodeled by the owner and it has some quirks but that's part of the charm. Two well equipped kitchens worked great for our group of 4 and the place felt like home. The location is fantastic, only two flights of stairs down to "downtown" Hood River. The owner was most helpful, welcomed us and gave us many excellent recommendations. We hope to come back next year!

Beautiful place surrounded by gorgeous views and fun things to do.

Meghan’s place was absolutely beautiful—honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice. The home is modern, clean, and thoughtfully updated, with a gorgeous garden and incredible attention to detail throughout. The kitchen was the best-stocked I’ve seen in an Airbnb, and the beds were very comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the peaceful setting—surrounded by amazing wildlife, including swallows and western bluebirds nesting in birdhouses on the property. At night, the stars were absolutely stunning. It’s also in a great location, just a short drive to some lovely wineries. Meghan was incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we had questions. You can tell she really cares about creating a welcoming experience. We truly loved the area and can’t wait to come back!

Amy was a wonderful host. The B&b bedroom space was spacious. The first floor had a wood burning stove that worked effectively. The dining table sat four people comfortably. The couch was spacious. There was no tv provided which we didn't need. The bathroom was upstairs off the bedroom. It might be a challenge for anyone who finds stairs challenging. There is a nice patio off of the first floor and a deck off the bedroom. The weather was wet and chilly so it wasn't conducive to sitting outside. I would return if I returned to the area.

Incredible place. Really loved the quirkiness of the house- so many books and so much character. Felt like I was home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do it justice. The peaceful mountain views, luxurious beds, fully stocked kitchen, proximity to town, and fully fenced yard for pups; you can't go wrong booking a stay! Would highly recommend!

This yurt is absolutely perfect! 10/10 recommend staying here. Beautiful area, hot tub is perfect, has everything you need. The host really has everything dialed in and pays attention to the details which makes her space extra special! I hope to be back soon to visit this lovely yurt!

Dave was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and thoughtful. The place was very comfy and convenient to everything in White Salmon or Hood River with a short car ride. Would definitely recommend!

It was easy to relax at the Yurt! Hot tub exceeded expectations, and the other amenities were excellent too. Would book again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The views of the Columbia River Gorge from the living room and from the hot tub were amazing, and there was plenty of space for us (two couples + three babies/toddlers) in the home. We loved the location – it was an easy five-minute walk down to the market and a handful of eateries in town, a 10-15 minute drive to many more options in Hood River, and near walks/hikes like the Mosier Twin Tunnels and Mosier Plateau Trail.

This was my first time in my life I took a trip like this by myself. I wouldve never thought I'd do something like this. I've stayed at a few BBs on my journey to the PNW, and I'd have to say Oma and her place are truly special. This place has a special connection to nature, it makes It so easy to disconnect from the noise and really be in the moment. You can tell how much Oma loves and respects this place. How her BNB is maintained and her warm attitude are a striking example of that. My dog Mack and I have enjoyed being here so much. I know one day I'll come back. Thank you for a place that will always be special to me.
