Nestled between the hustle and bustle of Oxford and the beauty and calm of The Cotswolds, the Cottage provides a newly refurbished home from home to stop, relax and explore the surrounding area: Blenheim Palace and Woodstock (7.5 miles), Soho Farmhouse (8 miles), Bicester Village (8.5 miles) and Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm (12 miles). The Cottage sleeps up to 2 with a king sized bed (and additional sofa bed in the downstairs living room).

It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

We had a great stay here. Very clean, shower was excellent, lots of little extra touches. If you’re used to a dark bedroom at night, it’ll be worth bringing an eye mask. There are vertical strip blinds that let a lot of light in. I’d say the unit is nicer than the photos, there are really high ceilings which give it a lively, airy feeling. The bedroom was lovely and large. Very good communication, helpful re check in and parking for the two is us. Highly recommended!

We only had one nights stay here to attend a gig at Blenheim Palace. Very easy walk there with helpful instructions left by Dan as to how to get there easily. The planning into the annexe was amazing. It was bijou but had everything we needed. It was also very comfortable. Will be staying again when we have another gig at Blenheim. Thanks for all the communications Dan they were really useful.

This place was wonderful! We have stayed in many Airbnbs and this was the cleanest and had the most comfortable beds. The house was very new, clean and walking distance to Blenheim Palace. Vanessa and Dan were instantly responsive and were the best hosts we have encountered. Can’t wait to come back and cannot recommend them enough!

From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely welcome—he met us in person, helped us get settled in, and gave us a great tour of the place. He even introduced us to the horses, which was such a unique and special touch. You can really see the passion and talent Phillip has put into the property—it’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience. The space was beautiful, comfortable, and full of character. We have stayed at Harriet's place a few times now. Out of all the Airbnbs we've stayed at over the years, the Granary is by far the best. Short distance to drive to the stations for Oxford and very near Bicester Village. Harriet thinks of everything you need for a home to home feel. A basket full of very tempting foods like; Croissants, Pain au Chocolate, Biscuits, Welsh cakes and Granola. Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate available. Bottle of fizz, milk and water in the fridge. The bathroom has everything you need including shampoo, conditioner, soap and even slippers. The accommodation and the hosts are first class.
