Vacation rentals in Kirkton of Skene

Great location with amazing scenery, so peaceful after the hurly burly of modern life. The Lodge was everything we had imagined, very comfy beds, loved the upstairs lounge with Super comfy sofas. Sheridan greeted us with jam and eggs even though she had to rush to the airport! The gardens were very attractive and spacious but sadly we could not take advantage of them because of the weather!

Rowan Cottage is great. Lots of space, wood burning stove, warm duvets, 3 bathrooms. Location is great - yes, it's a shame that all the trees are gone but storms are storms. Caroline has provided lots of bird feeders and that encourages loads of different kinds of birds and also red squirrels - fantastic. Great space for families or groups. Quiet and feels well away from everywhere, even though you're near to a main road.

Clean and fresh, nice treatment, walking distance to the train station, pubs, grocery store and golf course. We were very happy!

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

Another great stay can't wait to return

Had a wonderful time away with friends on a tame Hen weekend. Colin had a hamper of goodies waiting for us upon our arrival which made the stay extra special. Perfect venue for our needs with the major plus of us all having our own room and ensuite shower room. Also very central for things to do around Aberdeen.

Rebecca's house is gorgeous and the living space is very welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub after long beach walks. The garden is very private, perfect for us and our dogs. Rebecca was very proactive, responsive and all the instructions were very clear. We had a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend Rebecca's house to anyone wanting to explore Montrose and surrounding areas.

House was lovely, clean with lots of space. Host has thoughtfully left basic groceries for us & even fresh fruit. The surroundings were beautiful and brilliant for dogs. Shame that the hot tub was out of action as that was one of the reasons we had booked it.
