Thiushanj along with the chef and housekeeper was extremely welcoming and friendly they accommodated every need of ours from food to some shoppings which included from liqueurs to medicines and to a birthday cake which we requested from a place almost an hour ago highly recommend the place . Mevanda’s place was very special. Words cannot describe the beauty and peace of waking up to the lush mountains every morning. The peaceful oasis I needed. The company of his animals was much enjoyed. The food was delicious, breaky and coffee included everyday! And dinner for a good price. The staff were lovely and Mevanda was great to chat too, with lots of good advice. It is not close to town, however I liked this. You can always take a day trip to town and come back and relax in the afternoon. Close to many hikes, coffee and tea plantations. Showering in the small waterfall, 1 minute walk from my room was a highlight. I would recommend to everyone this experience. I will be back with friends! Much love Sam - Western Australia

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

The garden and the view is amazing and can’t be better. Surrounded by nature and nature sounds. Everything is green. Very isolated but only 5 minutes walk to the street where you can get a Tuktuk. You can’t expect a western standard of furnitures and house. You are surrounded by birds, bats, cats… amazing. But as you are in the middle of nature also ants, insects. The owner cooked twice for us, also went to the groceries and cleaned the kitchen. He prepared fantastic meals. All this free of Charge !! Unbelievable. He helps with everything you need and is available 24/7

I stayed in few places during my visit to Sri Lanka and this was the best place out of all 3. The apartment was really beautiful and luxurious. Had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful infinity pool. Staff were friendly and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back here

Felt at home as we came. The caretaker and his wife was very kind and helpful. We have been in this villa before so we had a great experience last time as well hence we decided to come again with our parents. Place is very spacious with a lovely view of the pool, some greenery and the beach. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a small vacay not too far from Colombo and enjoy with family and friends.
