We had a wonderful weekend get away. Cape Charles and The house were perfect.

The beauty of Cape Charles is unmatched! This home has plenty of space, is in a great location with wonderful neighbors (till next time, Martin!), and has a fully stocked kitchen. The beds are comfortable and hosts supply extras that I haven’t seen offered in other AirBnb rentals we’ve stayed at. The host is very responsive which is appreciated.

Sadia’s home on the river is a beautiful home in a very private and serene location. The house has been beautifully renovated for today’s comforts but it oozes with historical charm. The bedrooms worked out well for our needs for 5 adults. The house had a large kitchen for gathering, a cozy den for board games, a screened in back porch, and a lovely dock to sit by the water. We also enjoyed the fire pit while taking in the amazing stars. It really is such a special location. Kilmarnock is not too far away and offers shops snd restaurants but be aware that most businesses are closed on Sunday so do your town exploring on Saturday. We did run into a major plumbing issue upon our arrival. Sadia was extremely responsive and had a contractor at the house within an hour. Unfortunately the issue was not easily resolvable during our stay so we had limited water usage. Sadia was very easy to work with and we received a credit for our stay. It is truly a lovely home with a wonderful host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable, peaceful stay in this house and took advantage of the waterfront for fishing off the dock and canoeing in the bay. The open plan kitchen and family room were great for relaxing and the picture windows were spectacular. While the kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, we highly recommend a visit to the Merroir Tasting Room and Deltaville Tap & Rawbar.

Staying at the Blanchard Farm was a great experience for me and my family. My little one especially enjoyed playing in the puddles, with the cats—they were so friendly, and the poultry animals! We love waking up to the farm noise. We immediately miss it as soon as we got back home. We utilized most of the games laid out free to use, and my little one did not wanna get off the swing! Overall, we just had a great time, its a very short drive to the nearby town, we checked almost all the shops in town, and even went to the beach, which was also very close. Everyone was friendly and approachable. It’s almost like a hidden gem! We originally planned heading to Luray for our anniversary trip but we settled on this one and we’re glad we did! If you’re from the Hampton Roads Area and is looking for a place to disconnect and unwind but don’t wanna do a 3-4 hours trip far away, I recommend this place! We will be back!

We had a fantastic getaway at Vincent’s place. The place was clean, peaceful, unique. Getting in the place was easy. Vincent and Lori are great in communicating. We will gladly stay in their place again.

We had an amazing stay at White Heron Cottage! It was clean, bright, and quiet. Ashley was incredibly responsive and made everything easy. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Airbnb experience!

We had a wonderful stay in Va Beach visiting kids and grandkids that live in the area. It was great having a spacious, well-equipped rental which had everything we needed. Loved having the coffee selection in the morning! Meredith even had beach chairs and some sand toys for the kids. Meredith was very responsive to our communication and did her best to ensure we didn't have any issues during our stay. It was great having bathrooms on all three levels. The location is perfect....far enough away from the beach busyness but also walkable. There are several local eateries and a convenient brewery nearby.....all can be reached via walking. We would definitely stay here again as location, size, and comfort all work for us!

Brooke is super awesome! We had to book at the very last minute as our reservation with another host fell through and Brooke was so prompt and nice to let us book!! The hotel itself is a little dated but it was kept so clean and organized. The amenities like the pools, hot tub, and fitness center are all nice and well kept as well. The staff is super friendly and always so helpful! The location is PERFECT! Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable and clean place to spend an enjoyable beach vacation—Brooke’s place should be a top pick!
