Kinvarra house rentals

An excellent short stay at Michael and Breda's beautiful and very spacious bungalow in Kinvarra near Galway. Felt at home straightaway and the house had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen, lovely living space and very comfy bed. The large garden was great to sit in during the rare occasions the sun paid a visit. Excellent as a base for touring Galway and The Burren. Kinvarra is a delightful village on the edge of Galway Bay and had great pubs, a supermarket, plentiful parking and the best Chinese takeaway we've had in a long time! The wider area is stunningly beautiful. Overall, very highly recommended and many thanks to Michael and Breda.

It was a great stay in the lovely cottage! In the kitchen you‘ll find really everything you need (even a lunchbox, thermos flask, corkscrew etc.). The whole cottage was extremely clean and we felt home right away. The area is very silent and perfect for relaxing and going for walks/hikes. Be aware that there is a steep staircase in the cottage and the size of the bed is a little bit smaller than kingsize. Margaret gave us lots of recommendations so that we need to come back here again and explore the rest of it. :-)

Mary was a very welcoming host- she was responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, and left a wonderful welcome pack - including her delicious homemade granola. Mary was also very welcoming to our son and his wife who managed to fit in staying with us during part of our week's stay (they slept on a futon). They loved the place too! The flat is just outside Kinvara which is a lovely village, where, on Mary's recommendation, we listened to live trad Irish music and ate pizza one night. It's a great place from which to explore the burren (don't miss the lovely Russell Gallery and the nearby Flaggy Shore!). Thank you Mary!

I wish we could have stayed another night! Beautiful location and a clean, comfortable place to stay. Martina was responsive via text and we got to meet John in person - he was lovely energy. The breakfast box was AMAZING and the cherry on top of a welcoming Irish experience I was looking for. We even got to feed the herd with John before leaving! 10/10 would highly recommend this peaceful stay to anyone.

My partner and I loved our time here so much, we wished we had booked more than one night! The space is quaint and well-appointed. Annmarie and her family were lovely hosts. The surrounding area is idyllic and if you get a chance, I highly recommend staying here.

Lisa is a wonderful host. She has made everything comfortable and relaxing about staying in her beautiful, classic, warmly decorated, newly remodeled, spacious stone house with extraordinary views of The Burren and the ocean. Lisa welcomed us with fresh bread, honey, eggs, milk, coffee, tea, olive oil and butter as well as chocolates and a bottle of wine (not to mention an array of herbs and spices) for us on arrival. She generously made it easy to prepare breakfast and a few simple meals. We got great sleep in the super comfortable bed with first class linens and relaxed fully on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove. We loved walking along The Burren (trail at the doorstep) and on the splendid beach (a couple minutes down the road). So much to do to relax up here—day trips to explore the Aran Islands and the area around Ballyvaughan and more.

Spotless beautiful home was perfect for my family of 4. Allen brought fresh scones that were absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend to other families.

Quiet and away from the main roads with clean and beautiful interior is the apartment a perfect place to stay. Close to the Burren national park you can reach lots of hiking spots within short time. Frank gave us a warm welcome and was at all time friendly and helpful with all questions we had. Definetily to recommend!

It was great to have a dryer--not so common and appreciated--and the 2nd bath. We enjoyed details like the roses out back, the fun decor, the art. Most needs on hand, like tea, outlet adapters, detergent etc. Many thanks!

The location is just outside Kinvara. The place was comfortable and super clean. As stated in the description, there is a sloping ceiling above the bed, watch your head. The shower was fabulous and had lots of pressure. I came in exhausted from my activities and so thankful for a comfortable bed.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We spent two weeks in this wonderful cottage and felt at home from day one. The historic cottage is very cozy and very well equipped. Our children really enjoyed the garden around the house. The location is perfect with a rental car, as there are many excursion destinations in the area. And you can walk to the beautiful Crushoa Pier. Paul and Dympna gave great tips and were always very helpful and friendly. We would come back anytime!

Huge thanks to Breege for hosting us at her fabulous accommodation. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The photos of the truck & pool facilities don’t do them enough justice - just a devine experience! The whole trip surpassed our expectations - couldn’t recommend enough. Lily the dog is the ultimate third wheel (for all the right reasons)!
