We very much enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and more. The location was beautiful and had a very nice kitchen and bathroom too! Coffee, snacks, water, and dog bowls were just a few of the accommodations we found very thoughtful. I would highly recommend staying here, and looking forward to booking again!

Luke’s Creek

10 out of 10 stay if I could book this place every weekend I would! Truly it was a great experience if you are looking for somewhere to just disconnect and enjoy the outdoors this is the place! My dogs loved the creek and the wide open field. My husband was able to fish the entire time we were there. I would go back any time and recommend it for everyone. Something I will note this cabin does have ship ladder steps to reach the loft it can take a minute to get used to but once you get used to it it’s fine just a shock if you have never used them.

I’m also an air bnb host and I can honestly say this gem was better than I expected! It offered tons of amenities and was VERY well kept! The bedrooms were cute and comfortable, the pristine kitchen had tons of amenities, the snack welcome basket was a nice surprise touch. I’d definitely stay here every-time I visit Winston.

Charming 2-bedroom Farmhouse with a View

RobinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The location was perfect, with a stunning view of the mountains. It was private and we enjoyed evening fires while soaking in the scenery. (They supplied everything.) Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park are a short drive away so we enjoyed hiking in both parks. There were a variety of restaurants to choose from after our hikes as well. The house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Jennifer has thought of EVERYTHING! including charging stations for electronics, fluffy towels, comfy bedding and mattress, and a well-stocked kitchen. Perfectly charming!! Jennifer is a responsive host and answered my questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lakefront Home W/Hot Tub

LisetteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family (7 of us) selected this lovely location to stay when we were in town for our son's graduation from college. It was well worth the 30-minute drive to Greensboro to have a place where three generations could spend quality time together. The view of the lake is beautiful. Our young daughter especially loved the Pac Man arcade game in the basement, the playground in the backyard, and space to explore. The firepit (with plenty of dry firewood!) was a highlight for us parents, the tween, and the young adults - hours with no cell phones :) The grandparents loved early morning coffee on the deck. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need to make and serve meals. Know that if a member of your party has mobility challenges, there are steps required to access the main floor, either inside from the ground level basement or outside to access the front door. But there are bedrooms and full baths on both levels. Thank you, John and Meg, for being great hosts!
