This is exactly what Airbnb should be like. Karen’s place is a home away from home, was spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need and was great value for money. Karen was extremely helpful and friendly, welcoming us and providing us with lots of ideas of things to do in the area. The kitchen was well thought out with everything a guest would need for a trip away, and there was even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge which made us really feel like we were on holiday. The house is beautiful and really nicely decorated - beds were comfy, bathroom was perfect - we couldn’t fault it. Sign of a good Airbnb? We didn’t want to go home!

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment which was extremely well equipped & immaculately clean & tidy. Thelma had provided lots of really thoughtful items, like coffee, milk, butter, juice.....the list goes on. It had great views of the orchard at the rear and surrounding countryside from the balcony. There was an enclosed garden for our dog & she was also able to play in the orchard. It felt very private but George & Thelma were easy to find & were very friendly & helpful any time we needed advice. We loved the rural location which was so peaceful we could hear the birds. Lovely stay. The facilities and area were actually better than expected and we had a great time! Kids loved the games room and Katherine accompanied our late arrival and helped us with old towells when we forgot ours.

Simply wow, this has to be the best Airbnb around! At the end of a country lane is heaven in Devon. Ruth's place is a large studio, perfect for a couple to escape from the city into the peace of the countryside. It's very well appointed for self catering, either in the kitchen or the barbecue area. Everything has been thought about and taken care of. From welcome touches like the pint of milk in the fridge, through to the custom official Ordnance Survey map shows a level of thought, care and perfection I've never seen before. Staying here felt like staying at your own luxury home where you have everything you need, but without any trace of the feeling of clutter some other places can have when they're full of your host's possessions. The hosts afford you total privacy, there if you need anything or want to chat, but leave your to your stay. We ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden, and had a couple of barbecues down on the patio late into the evening.

Beauty nestled in between Bridport and Dorchester. Beaches and historical monuments on your doorstep and the barn is amazing. Every detail is thought over and the space and light is amazing. Loved the record player with an actual good selection of records to play. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the bed was super comfy!

Quiet and peaceful surroundings just the place to relax. Beautifully restored and tastefully decorated accommodation.
