It is nestled in the basement of a 200 year old traditional Irish farmhouse with its' own private entrance and overlooking stunning gardens. Beautiful, peaceful location yet within a short drive to bigger villages and to Dublin. We knew we were sharing the house with the host but photos in the listing suggested we might have had a little more access to some communal areas. That was ok for us as we got in late and left early, we really only needed bed and bath. A very nice continental breakfast was included and was beautifully presented by Marie. The beds were very comfortable and the stay suited our needs well.

This place was great— beautifully maintained and super cosy. Rosaleen was an incredible host — so warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. She truly understands the needs of travelers and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a restful stay. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Whether you're on a big journey or just looking for a beautiful place to unwind, you won’t find better hospitality. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in!
