Here in the Burren, the bare exposed limestone which is up to 780 metres in thickness, covers an area of 250 square kilometres. The Burren does not mean barren; people have settled here since Stone Age times. Evidence of their habitations and tombs are all around you. The unusual flora of the Burren has attracted huge interest and attention over the years. Rare and spectacular plants grow in abundance throughout this unique limestone region. Unusual butterflies and moths feed on the flora and the hazel scrub. Pine forests give cover to the larger animals including Pine Marten.

I had a few nights stay here with a work colleague and had a fantastic stay. The surrounding area from the property was amazing. Karen our host was great aswell very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Exploring the Burren and the nearby spots around County Clare, from local pubs to hikes up Mullaghmore, just moments from Dabrian was incredible. Aisling and her family were wonderfully welcoming, greeting us with fresh scones, milk, and friendly conversation. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, restorative escape.

The pod was perfect for my husband and I. It was nice and cozy and had beautiful views of the coast. It is in a great location for exploring all of the attractions in the area. Sinead was also very welcoming and super quick at responding if we had any questions. They also had a lovely dog Bella that greated us when we arrived. We hope to stay here again in the future!
