The location is 15 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes with the bus to the centre of Poros. Poros Island is serviced by both sea and road routes from Athens.By sea (from the port of Piraeus you can reach the island in little over an hour using the fast flying dolphin & catamaran services, alternatively driving from Athens to the coastal town of Galatas (where car ferries service the island every 30 minutes) can be achieved in 2 1/2 hours.

Nina's house was our grandmother's home.It was built in the 19th century. The renovation was done with full respect to all the old elements of the house and tried to preserve the special atmosphere of such a place, simple, but with all the essentials for a pleasant stay.

Georgios welcomed us and showed us around his beautiful and wild garden by the sea. He let us pick oranges and lemons from all the fruit trees which we loved. He also provided some great advice on the use of mycelium :) You can use his bikes which we didn’t end up doing but could have been very useful. Comfy bed and shower, cooking in the outside kitchen definitely has its charm although things felt a little sticky and could maybe use a few more utensils. Overall a lovely stay.

Excellent séjour, nous avons adoré cette chambre magnifique qui nous a ébloui. Merci énormément à Penelope qui nous a très bien conseillé, restaurants, plages, endroits pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Personnellement, nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour le village de Galatas, moins de chichi et beaucoup plus authentique que Poros! Des restaurants et des locaux adorables ! We were a party of three and really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfectly situated, very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and we worked up an appetite walking to the beaches each day. There is one very close by - perhaps 15 mins and more further along the coast which are well worth the 30-40 min walk. We spent our evenings enjoying drinks and dinner on the front enjoying the views of the boats and island beyond. Our host responded very quickly to our queries and was very happy to help and offer suggestions.

An expansive view of Kanali beach is framed by an archway. Bright blue waters stretch towards the horizon, dotted with sailboats. Sun loungers and straw umbrellas are arranged neatly along the shore, creating a relaxing beachside atmosphere.

Amazing location, the flat is literally right next to a beach and restaurant. The family are super nice and gave me a couple of free coffees. Enjoy my stay, thank you guys.
