Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Kerpen

It was a lovely place for a Christmas holiday, surrounded by mountains and with a lake nearby. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is a great house, with a beautiful view and wonderful rooms & terraces. Every detail is present in the kitchen, and we really enjoyed all the amenities in the house: the fireplace, the sauna, the bath, the hammock, the bbq, the family games. It is definitely a place to relax in total peace and serenity. We found it hard to say goodbye!

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

nice accomodation to stay at. spacious, own terrace with bbq we used, floor heating making the accomodation temperature comfortable, well equiped kitchen. very close to township with good supermarkets. area worth to visit. we went for a run in the morning through the hills, forest and being in the three countries, NL,GE,BE.

Everything worked out great. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything to us well. The house is fantastic and has everything you want. The area is great too, there's a lot to do. We communicated through the Airbnb app and it was always quick to respond. Highly recommended! We will be happy to come back! We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

The apartment is super lovingly furnished, you feel right at home and have everything you need. I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)

We were warmly welcomed by Peter. The apartment looked cozy and not unimportantly clean. Further with all the comforts,good beds and a nice shower. We enjoyed the beautiful garden for twelve days with a magnificent view. Despite the heat, there was always a shady spot under a tree or poolside pool. Our four-legged friend Layka had a great time. Peter and Tanja thank you for your hospitality. Thanks to her, we had a nice holiday in a brilliant location.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! We were travelling back from Finland to the UK with our 2 dogs and needed somewhere to stay for our last night. Ideally we would be able to self cater and give our dogs a good long walk. After explaining the situation to Fridolin, he invited us to book. We arrived late afternoon, check in was easy and the annexe was just perfect for our needs😁It had a very homely feel and some very nice touches as well. Using the directions given, we gave our dogs a much needed long walk in the countryside right from the front door in the evening sunshine😎🐾🐾 With big name supermarkets nearby we were able to get our supplies for dinner and breakfast👍🏻 We slept like logs on a super comfy bed, the house is in a dead end road so was very peaceful. After another long walk, we left feeling like we had found a little gem and wishing we could have stayed another night. We would not hesitate to stay again should we be passing by and happily recommend to others.

We had a lovely stay at Simone's cottage. Everything was also really as it was in the listing. No wifi, no TV. It was really relaxing. The cottage is in the woods, the only thing you hear were the birds. What I had to get used to was that you have to make coffee by hand. But yes, that doesn't really matter, because we were free and didn't have to do anything that really needed. We hope to be welcome in this cottage again.

My brother and I were in the apartment for a weekend, we were both very satisfied and we lacked nothing :)

If you are looking for peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cottage has old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest Internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a pleasure to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.

Great holiday home, perfect as starting point for hiking or cycling. The apartment and view even are better than the pictures suggest!

It is a beautiful location where you can relax with enough ration and not have to go out the door anymore. We stayed in winter and it was wonderful to sit by the pallet stove.

We really enjoyed staying with Moralie! A very charming airbnb, with everything you may need. We were lucky with wonderfully sunny weather, so the outdoor seating area was very nice! The dog also loved sniffing around outside. The cottage is at the outskirts of the village and after a 100-meter walk you can walk into the fields and the forest. The location was perfect for us as a base for all kinds of walks. You can also walk from here to the Hoëgne. Moralie is a very pleasant host who respects your privacy and communicates very clearly in advance how to find the house, parking, amenities etc. The reception felt very warm, as there were cookies ready for both us and the dog, with two nice beers in the fridge on top. Wonderful! We definitely recommend a stay and would come back again. Not all walks are checked off yet! :) Lotte, Eva & Louis
