Condo vacation rentals in Kenya

I love this bnb! this was my 2nd stay and won't be the last. whenever am traveling to mombasa this is my go to spot. the bnb is beautiful the decor is kool unique and stylish . the seller is the view!! it's what really draws me there each time. loaded with amenities pretty much everything you can think of is there. very comfortable sofa seating and bed. I literally have no complaints the only thing that could make it better is if it was in a more happening area but it's easy to get around with ubers. the host is amazing she always gets back to me with any concerns and rectified them. she definitely takes wanting us to have a good experience serious. pro tip . there is a store nearby on called food plus where you can get cases of water, snacks and even food stuff for cooking. the big thing is there is also a pharmacy and atm in that same Plaza. good to know because there is not an atm at the premises where you'll stay. cash is king.

Federica’s place is beautiful - very spacious and the deck/views are wonderful. There is a gate and security that made us feel comfortable, and the pool and grounds are very well kept. It’s walkable to several restaurants and shops, with tuk tuks nearby as well. Would just caution anyone traveling during the low season (I think April to July) to look and see if restaurants are open; we struck out a few times at some places that are walkable from the Airbnb.

Good place and good host

The condo was very clean inside and out of the apartment. We loved the roof top. The building is very secure and we always felt safe and welcome. Great restaurants nearby. Shops and grocery stores as well. Nancy went above and beyond to accommodate us for check in/out. Very responsive host. The only real down side was the night club across the street had a very loud event the night we arrived. That’s not fault of the host but it’s worth mentioning. In the house rules it was implied there would be kitchen basics and while there was sugar for coffee there was no oil for cooking or anything else. Not a big deal but also worth nothing so that if you’re planning to cook you can prepare accordingly. The kitchen was otherwise decently stocked. Overall excellent location, great value, communicative host. Would recommend.

Lisa was an amazing, proactive and engaging host. She made us feel at home and gave us all the information and recommendations we needed to make our stay pleasant. Her apartment truly exceeded our expectations. The surrounding area in Tatu City was really amazing. Our family had so many outdoor activities like bike ridding, walking, swimming and all in a very secure and well organized area. We were impressed by the kind of order and security and organization around Tatu City. The restaurants and shops around were amazing. Our kids felt at home and we would definitely recommend Lisa’s place. Most of all we truly appreciated the regular check ins by our host to find out if we were enjoying our stay as well as the beautiful, clean and well maintained apartment. A spacious, secure, modern, clean, and well-furnished apartment in a safe neighbourhood, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and a large mall (Junction Mall). With a 24 hour supermarket right across the street, it would have been easy to make our own breakfast. But as a group of five people, we chose not to and instead walked up to Junction Mall each morning for the excellent breakfasts at Java House and Art Caffe. The hostess, Clara, is very responsive and answered our many questions quickly. When we return to Nairobi, we will definitely stay here again. In summary, highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at Sheila's Place. Sheila is very responsive to guest inquiries. The location was excellent with easy access to Nairobi CBD, Westlands, Airports, Restaurants and other fun activities. The residence was as described in the post. The apartment is clean, secure, with great access to reliable internet and very well furnished. It was a great experience. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book the apartment in my next visit to Nairobi.

This was my second stay with Kenji, having previously enjoyed one of his other fantastic apartments — and once again, everything exceeded expectations. The apartment made for a perfect getaway. It was spotless and actually looked even better in person. I especially enjoyed having an extra large smart TVs in the bedroom, which made it easy to unwind with Netflix in the evening. One highlight was the balcony off the bedroom — we kept the sliding doors open most of the time to take in the Nairobi skyline, and it helped to bring in fresh air. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special, like bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, body wash, a free water dispenser and extra blankets — small details that I rarely come across in other Airbnbs in Nairobi and abroad. Kenji was a great host once again. He shared a digital guidebook ahead of time that explained everything clearly, and he was always respectful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything.

Susan’s place is a true gem. The beds were comfortable, always hot water and power, well equipped kitchen and a gorgeous pool and patio. Even niceties I dint expect like security cameras, house cleaning and a quality washing machine. You have all you need to live there autonomously. Next door is a great pizza place w vegan pizza and cocktails! Notes for families: the beach that is directly outside of Susan’s compound is not family friendly nor good for swimming (trash and khat chewers). But the cleaner swim able beach is just a 8 min Tuk Tuk ride away. Worth the distance to have such a gorgeous condo! The pool was shallow enough for my 5 yo to stand w her head above water but a short child or a younger child couldn’t stand. There is no “kiddie pool”

Nice place and location, walkable to Yaya. Easy to get in touch and communicate with host. Good playground for the smallest kids, the pool has a shallow area for kids, there is a shop in the building, flexible self check-in. These things make this a very family friendly place. We booked this place just a few hours before we would arrive and everything went smoothly.

The place is just as shown in the photos. A comfortable, quiet, beautiful, and family-friendly place. Thank you, Maureen, for always being there for us.

The accommodation was just as advertised, with an option to choose which house to stay in subject to availability. i usually have problems sleeping in new beds but this was not the case - the bed was supper comfy. The walled community has a lot of security guards and checks at the gate to the point of making me feel "over-secured" but the guards are polite and welcoming. Several nearby restaurants offer options for diverse cuisine when one is inclined not to cook. The kids had a ball depleting my wallet from the nearby KFC and Galitos fast food joints, the only thing i didn't "enjoy" :-) Our stay at Evan's place was quite memorable for the family and we definitely will be staying there again.

One of our best stays in Mombasa by far. The residence was great for the 5 of us. The house is as shown on the pictures with magnificent views of the ocean from all the rooms, especially the views from the master bedroom windows and balcony. The gym was well fitted and the swimming pool was very clean, the water felt quite warm even in the evenings. Finally I just want to acknowledge the residence was kept clean at all times and the neighborhood was very quiet . We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay, located near Westlands, and pertinent restaurants and bars l enjoyed. Belinda was attentive and responded quickly to my concerns. l will definitely reconsider staying there in the near future.

We love staying here! It’s the perfect blend of central Nairobi but peaceful and quiet. Such a great family place to stay with lots of space and safe for kids.

The house looks exactly like it does in the photos—no surprises, no disappointments. The view is stunning, and there’s a large shared pool that’s perfect for relaxing. Everything was very clean, and Silvia was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond. The location is unbeatable—it’s right on the beach, just a couple of steps away. Unfortunately, we visited during the low season, so we ended up going to Garoda Beach to swim. Still, I’m sure that during the high season, you can fully enjoy the beautiful beach right in front of the house. Overall, we had a great experience. If there’s one thing I would suggest improving, it’s the interior design. Replacing the bedsheets on the couches with proper covers would make the space feel much more polished—and truly deserving of more than 5 stars.
