Peaceful, soothing and surprising place. Warm welcome. Thanks to Brian for his delicious cooking. Thanks to Kwenia for her walk in the bush and the very moving village tour. Thanks to the team for the beauty of the site. And especially thanks to Tom (and his expert eye) who made us experience a safari in Amboseli that was simply perfect: he worked hard to ensure that we were most often alone with the animals, positioning himself for the most beautiful photos, giving us tons of explanations and always with a smile and kindness, for one of the most beautiful days of our life! We stayed two nights at the Dikdik lodge and absolutely loved it. It's a peaceful place, the room is super clean and spacious. Martine and the two donkeys really make you feel at home. We had the half board option and were therefore able to enjoy the wonderful meals prepared by the chef, we even got our breakfast as a to go box to enjoy while doing an early game drive. Location is great, in the proximity of the Samburu, Buffalo Springs & Shaba national reserves. We highly recommend staying here during your visit to this region!

An unexpected gem tucked away in Muhoroni. I loved the landscaping. The lush green gardens added to the zen atmosphere. Staff was super welcoming and responsive. Food was good. I especially enjoyed the fruit. The room was clean and comfortable. Certainly found my go to spot when in Muhoroni.

I had an incredible weekend getaway at Mwangi’s place. The location was pristine, the accommodations were extremely comfortable, and the team was always helpful and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the guided hike, a relaxing fishing session, and the delicious food — all set in a truly peaceful environment. Mwangi was incredibly responsive and supportive with every request, making the experience even better. I can’t wait to return and spend even more time there!

I would definitely recommend this place.

I gave this place 5 stars because of Dennis and the Maasai staff. The property itself is not a five star resort with all the trimmings and that's what makes it charming. But, because they provide jobs and outreach to the wonderful staff I could not bring myself to give it any less. I had an upsetting issue and it was resolved with the help of the staff and Dennis, and only Dennis. Asante sana, Dennis! 🙏 The camp is rustic, sustainable, and everything I wanted. I lived out of a permanent or movable tent for 6 weeks while in Africa. I miss hearing the animals very much. The food is pretty much the same daily likely because the property is 6 hours away from Nairobi in the bush and it is tough to get anything, but it is prepared with love. I enjoyed it. If you take an all day game drive make sure you ask what lunch is. I stayed for a week. Most people stay a night The view from camp is perfect for sunsets. Cows and goats roam through the property which provide a wonderful local feel

Loved how serene the area was. Pretty cold carry warm clothes . Bugs in the room mostly because the area is slightly forested otherwise loved my stay .The meals were great and the hospitality was equally amazing.
