Five gf’s getting away for a weekend…Danielle was very easy to work with. The house was great. Plenty of room. A large beautiful dining table and great room overlooking the lake. The view was beautiful. The cottage is surrounded by some older homes but Danielle’s has been updated very nicely and it was very peaceful. Plenty of parking. The house was clean. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning in the future.

This place was so charming. It's literally above a barn. We went Valentines weekend and there had been snow. Theres a fireplace thay makes it so cozy. We went on a couple of hiles with our dog. And we got to visit Grand Rapids. There is definitely a couple things to do around. There were some horses off to the side and chickens. The airbnb was super clean and the instructions to get in were easy. I do have to say to be careful if you're visiting in the winter when there's snow. We had a 4wheel drive suv and regardless, we skid of into a ditch after leaving the airbnb on our last day and had to get a tow truck. Other than that the stay was perfect.

Adorable guest house with peaceful surroundings. This location is an easy drive to the city but a nice, quiet retreat. We brought our two pups and there was room to roam. Linens were fresh and master bed was plush. Kitchen had basic dishes and cookware, and the bathroom was stocked with toiletries. Perfect size for the two of us. We'd happily stay again!

This was a great experience! The views are so beautiful and there is so much to do right in the home! I spent my 30th birthday here with my family and I couldn’t ask for anything better. The host is very responsive and supportive! Any time I had a question, he responded immediately! Additionally, I went with family of all ages and every one of us had a great experience in the home. There were so many different games to enjoy. The home is also very spacious! I had a great time and I know my family did too. I highly recommend this Airbnb and honestly at any time throughout the year as there is a lot to do right inside. It was a bit chilly and rained a bit, but we were still able to enjoy it a lot!!

My wife Tess and I came here to celebrate her 55th birthday and words can't describe how much fun we had and how clean and accommodating and cozy the cottage was. Frank and John were awesome. They were very attentive to us especially for my wife's birthday they had a German Chocolate Cake waiting for her in the fridge along with a nice greeting board at the door wishing her a happy birthday and welcoming us to the cottage. They came out Friday and set up the paddle boat and kayaks along with vests and even accommodated us with items to light the fire pit as well. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN HERE WHEN ITS WARMER OUTSIDE, BUT WE STILL HAD A BLAST AND FRANK AND JOHN ARE AWSOME HOSTS. ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND MORE! MY WIFE SAID THAT THIS WAS TRULY THE BEST BIRTHDAY SHE EVER HAD!

We had a wonderful visit at this cabin! The hosts were great in answering questions beforehand, and even stopped by upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of firewood was provided for us to keep a fire going all evening. Very peaceful getaway!

Space for days, very clean, doesn't disappoint!

Just as the description said, the house was very clean and tidy with lots of space! The house is similar to the tardis; it appears small on the outside but is huge on the inside. Furniture and beds were cozy and the kitchen appliances were ready to use without needing a prior wash. Sometimes, you don't get that lucky. Although on the street, the inside of the house was peaceful and quiet. The house was also less than a 10 minute drive from most places we went, which is always a plus!

The location is beautiful and quite private. The pictures are incredibly accurate, but do not show how pretty and/or scenic the area is, especially at night. The fire pit is VERY good size and there is a grate you could use to cook on, if you wanted. The host is responsive and very polite. While the space is small (It is a tiny house after all) it's very well put together, extremely clean, all the amenities you could ask for. The upper sleeping areas you do need some flexibility/climbing ability, but there is also a pull out couch bed you can also use. Very comfortable, nice touches, and a nice small town location, with plenty of places to eat/shop and check out! Definitely recommended!

Beautiful home and purpose built for entertaining. Susan, our host, was welcoming and accommodating and extremely flexible and understanding of our unique needs at the time. The location is excellent, overlooking the lake with a restaurant bar across the street and a breakfast spot next door. If you are thinking about the place, just go ahead and book it, well worth it.

They were supper responsive to my messages. I had asked prior to our visit if they had a muffin tin available. They went out and bought before I got there and even supplied the liners. Also brought us really nice new folding chairs for seating if we needed it. Overall the place was very pleasant. Oh yeah and the beds we all amazing along with the bedding and towels and all of the furniture was very nice.

This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

This stay lives up to all of the other positive reviews! Pam and her husband were super responsive! The home was beautiful with great views of the lake. They’ve thought of literally everything even down to all of the light switches being labeled. The space was clean and beds comfortable! The lake is just far enough from nearby towns to be private and quiet, yet close enough that you can go to places like Grand Rapids or Rockford for a nice meal, or Greenville to shop at Marshall’s! At one point, we got locked out and Pam called us and got us back in the house immediately. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and when we got back from dinner one night, Pam had left us a gift basket with all sorts of goodies to celebrate our special occasion! I cannot recommend this host and stay enough!!

Great house. We had plenty of space for 8 people. The house is very clean and comfortable. A bunch of the women in my family were in town for a baby shower and we decided to make a weekend of it. Everyone enjoyed staying and hanging out. The fire pit was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lake and backyard are beautiful.

Great quiet location, very spacious interior perfect for 4-6 people who don’t want to feel cramped together. House was clean and everything was easy to find, we cooked and served multiple meals and didn’t need to supplement any cookware or appliances. The movie room downstairs was cozy and the jetted tub was a fantastic touch as well! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay- “retreat” is a very accurate descriptor for this location. Definitely recommend!

My family stayed at Elizabeth’s home while we visited family for Christmas. From the minute Elizabeth met us at the door to let us in, we knew this Airbnb was special. Elizabeth showed us around the home and reviewed all the details. The home was better than the pictures, extremely organized and well stocked with extra amenities from toiletries in all the bathrooms to spices in the kitchen. Elizabeth had even supplied hot cocoa and decorated the home for Christmas. We felt at home from when we first stepped foot in the house. I highly recommend this home and Elizabeth. They deserve 6 stars!!

A compact house with amazing room once inside! The fenced in yard was a bonus for our dog. Parking for 3 cars was no problem (one on the (quiet) street). The eight of us could sleep without using the sleeper sofa. Nice and clean, well equipped and recommended.

The place was wonderful! We brought our infant son and we were provided with a pack and play already set up in the room. So thankful. It was so clean and tidy and the instructions were easy for check in and out.

Everything was perfectly as described! What a beautiful home away from home. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was divine, and the kitchen was chef friendly! Plenty of counter tops and a gas stove (that was a plus!) I wish I could have stayed longer. Close to grocery markets and restaurants as well as a park. Beautiful neighborhood. Very safe.
