Cottage vacation rentals in Kent County

We had a great time at this home felt like our home away from home. We came out for a Father’s Day weekend. And did nothing but fiction grill in karaoke. Shuffleboard and pool table was a great hit amongst everyone. Everyone had a bed. Everyone slept great. Literally this house had everything we needed, including charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood literally we didn’t need anything.

our family made some great memories at Brandon & Allison’s place on Lake Murray. the house is beautiful and perfectly set up for families - lots of places to socialize inside and outside, huge kitchen, big yard and a nice sandy beach for the kids to play. lots of clean towels, tons of seating indoors and outdoors. we loved it. unfortunately we damaged their boat, which was quite stressful - Brandon was very understanding, which was very appreciated. of the five years we’ve been renting lake houses each summer in Michigan, this was the best spot - highly recommend.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. BUT… the initial address given was not the address of the house so we have to drive another 30 minutes to get to the house. The house was clean, rustic and ideal for us 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the amenities especially the billiards and kayaks. Also our dog enjoyed running around the property.

This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

Hot tub was nice and spacious, house was not as close to the lake as pictures may make it seem. Location feels nice and secluded.

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. The cottage was on a nice, quiet road, and had a beautiful view of the lake. The entire cottage was pristine and built exceptionally well. The kitchen was spacious and had nice "soft-close" drawers and cabinets, a massive sink, and plenty of beautiful wood counters. We sadly didn't use the pontoon because of our time restraints, but we did walk down to it and it was also amazing. New, with nice leather seats and plenty of space for the family. We couldn't recommend this place enough. We'd happily come back again.

Our family of five and 1 medium size dog stayed in Cecily's home for 4 nights over the Christmas holidays. It is a beautiful setting and quite serene with the lake view. Kitchen and bathrooms were pristine. I had a few questions during our stay and Cecily always answered in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this home for future guests.

My family throughly enjoyed celebrating the holiday here. It was so peaceful and beautiful once the snow began falling. The kitchen was huge enough to have our entire dinner spread on the island, and the dishwasher came in great handy. Our only complaint was the beds were extremely firm. My fiancé actually enjoyed this, but myself and my parents, not so much. But the place was spotless and the hosts were kind and responsive. Thank you again.

Hosts were great! Home was superclean! We appreciated the toys available for the children; they were very entertained with them. The hosts even provided warm, fuzzy socks for the kids which was nice with the extra cold days we were having! Would love to stay here again in the future.

This was such a cute little lake house. It was well kept - very clean and neat. We were in the area for a wedding and this was a perfect spot to call home for the weekend. The area was beautiful with the fall foliage and the lake was crystal clear. It was such a nice location - definitely a spot to get some much needed R&R. The house has a great backyard to sit under the string lights, have a campfire, play yard games, or enjoy the lake. We visited during October so it was chillier in the mornings, but we were able to enjoy the sunshine and great views in the afternoon. The hosts were fantastic. They were super responsive and very friendly. They offer a lot of amenities such as campfire supplies and boat rentals. The reclining sofas were a nice touch and were great for putting our feet up at the end of the day. There were also board games and some kids activities too. I wish we had a few more days to take advantage and enjoy some more of the lake life. We will have to come back!

My family had an amazing stay! We have family nearby so we’ll definitely be back. Such a beautiful property and super peaceful on the lake. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out in the evening. Tracy was very flexible with our early check in request and made sure to update me regularly on the status of the cleaners getting done early. Thank you Tracy! Can’t wait to come back!

This house is a great house for a family! With multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces you can go about the day without feeling you are in top of one another. Wifi is fast and reliable, this home has a generator, great views, everything you could possibly ever need plus the things you didn't think of!

Furnace was a little loud. Other than that. It was a great relaxing location for a track weekend at Grattan.

Adam and Sheena were beyond wonderful as hosts. When we had questions, they were almost immediate to respond. They were kind, quick, and incredibly accommodating. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Such a cute and cozy getaway if you want to be right on the water, you have kids who love to be outside and fish, or you just want a peaceful place to stay.. it was just perfect for the weekend and the view of the water and the other houses on the lake was beautiful. It was cool enough on the hot days and warm enough on the days where it was a little chilly outside, heated mostly by fireplace .. that was 10/10. It was also pretty kid friendly which was nice when traveling with one under 3 and then a 13 year old. Will most definitely be back this summer. (:

Wendi & Norm’s place was a paradise! The grounds and view are stunning. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our young daughter. The pool is heated and they have everything you would need to enjoy it. There is beach access, kayaks, tennis courts. Honestly, you wouldn’t have to leave the property to have a good trip. The cherry on top was the friendly, kind, and helpful hosts. Wendi and Norm were around whenever we needed anything and often proactively did things we didn’t even think of. Norm turned up the pool in the evening so that my husband and I could enjoy it after our daughter went to bed. It was like staying with family. I highly suggest this Airbnb!

Nathan’s place was absolutely beautiful, we loved staying there! It was the perfect spot for a few friends and I, and I would 100% recommend to anyone! Nathan was a great host, super friendly and helpful!
