Monthly Rentals in Kennett Township

Allie’s house is a charming older, well-maintained home in an established, safe (police station half a block away), quiet neighborhood very close to Kennett Square’s main intersection. We loved sitting on the front porch near blooming red dogwood trees, chatting with walkers, their dogs, and babies in strollers. The screened-in back porch was a comfortable, private alternative. Kitchen was very well-equipped, beds were quite comfortable, and bed-bath linens were lovely. Living room was a comfortable alternative to porches for lounging and conversation; Allies got games, too! Kennet Square is a delightful town to explore on foot, in very close proximity to Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Art Museum — Wyeth family art center. Good shopping, a couple of fun bars, and some great dining. All-in-all, our visit was wonderful and Allie’s house was a super home base.

I stayed for 3 nights, and the use of the barn and how it was converted was very nice. I would suggest leaving directions for the heaters as the inverters were either full blast heat or off and the radiators didn't work - also a tv in the bedroom would be a good option. This would be a great location in the summer to stay in order to use the nice yard. It is very easy to find and very quiet. Was just the perfect location.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, the place was clean, tidy and plenty of space, would definitely stay here again.

Anne and Mark's cottage is a very special place. We were impressed with the creative repurposing of an old building, it demonstrates a clever use of space and offers a relaxing and cosy interior design. The location has the best of both worlds, you feel like you are miles away from the madness of humanity but you can get to restaurants and shops in a few minutes. Close by is Giant, a fantastic supermarket for ingredients to cook your own meals or find anything you're missing. The cottage is very close to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and Mount Cuba gardens. Anne and Mark are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is a real treasure in the Brandywine Valley.
