Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

The house and surroundings are absolutely stunning. Me and my group all agreed it was the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in, hands down! I would highly recommend this property, you won't regret it.

Miia is a great host. She is super helpful and help us a lot before we arrive Rovaniemi. The house is such a beautiful place to stay, be it the house environment or their surrounding area. It is too big for 4 of us but we did enjoyed it due to great location in front of the lake. We experienced Northern Light just in front of the balcony. Very recommended to stay! Worth it! Good location, nice ambient

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Amazing Stay! I had a wonderful experience staying at this flat. It's perfectly located, close to everything you could need. The flat itself was spotless, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay—such a thoughtful touch from the owner. Plus, it had a bidet, which was a great one! Morag, the owner, was incredibly kind and always available to answer my questions. She provided great solutions to any concerns I had and even kept us updated on the local weather. In short, Morag and the flat definitely deserve more than a 5-star rating!

Tidy and functional apartment! We found what was needed in the kitchen. The baby had their own bedding too:) Communication is really easy, I can recommend!

It was a dream come true! The house is very nicely located. Ideal for skiers, but also for hiking and exploring it invites you. With the fireplace in the living room you get a wonderful atmosphere! The communication went perfectly and you can book beautiful tours on site

We had a lovely stay here. The flat is very close to the city centre and all the pick up locations for tours. It’s also right by the river. The flat itself is lovely, very cozy and the sauna is great. Niina (and her daughter Ella who came to meet us) were great hosts. Very responsive, friendly and helpful.

My spouse and I had a great time there, from the welcome by her very friendly husband, the quiet environment with the added bonus of squirrels and birds that came every morning in front of the window, the northern lights on the lake just behind. The only catch is maybe the bed is a little small and the sauna that we couldn't get to work, but that didn't stop us from having a lovely time there, the area is beautiful and quiet, we recommend the place and will be happy to come back! The cottage in Mourujärvi was just what I and my 2 sons and dog needed. comfortable little cottage with beautiful lake view in a quiet location. I hope you find fish in the lake to eat, or at least a pike. I still believe I'll return to the same place with the whole family. general assessment, basically a nice little cottage, no luxury if you need it, but a thoroughly Finnish red cottage🔥👌 So, yes, I will continue

We had 3 very nice days in the cottage. It was wonderfully quiet and idyllic. We especially liked the sauna and the hot tub. The communication was very fast and uncomplicated. We would love to come back anytime.

We had an incredible, magical week in Miika's sweet cottage. Miika made our stay perfect. He took us on a snowmobile safari, we went ice fishing together and he pointed out the Aurora to us at night. As a further highlight, his wife cooked an insanely delicious reindeer soup for us. This was the highlight of our week in Finland. We also received great tips on other activities and Miika also organized a visit to a reindeer farm, very private. We enjoyed the beautiful and quiet location right by the lake with our private sauna. Thanks a million Miika and we will certainly come back!
