We had a great stay and would absolutely give it 5 stars! The house was spotless—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The kitchen was fully stocked with quality utensils, the appliances were excellent, and we loved spending time in the outdoor seating area—it was such a peaceful spot. Just one note for future guests: there’s an upstairs loft area with two beds, but the stairs leading up to it felt a little questionable. One of the steps looked like it had been repaired, and it made us a bit cautious. It wasn’t a problem for us since we stayed downstairs, but worth keeping in mind if you plan to use the loft. All in all, a cozy, well-kept home—we’d definitely stay again!

5 stars all the way around! This was our second stay at Thomas's house! Conveniently located to the beach as well as the Strand. Thomas is always available to you and answers all questions quickly. As far as value, you won't find another place on the island with as much to offer as this wonderful home. So if you are considering booking this home, stop thinking about it and click on button to book it! You won't be sorry!

This location is perfect from walking distance to the beach and to the restaurants that are on the Seawall. The house was very clean and had everything you want/need for your stay. Robert was really nice & super fixable for our time there. Would definitely come back to stay here again!

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Jonathan’s house! It was spacious, clean, and perfect for the two of us. The backyard was peaceful and was a nice spot to relax. The heated pool was a great bonus, especially on cooler nights. The host was very easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from start to finish. Everything was just as described. We'd definitely come back!

The Yellow Gator is a very special house, perched directly on the canal on the bay side of the west end of Galveston. We loved the location, the house, and the easy beach access.

We had a beautiful stay at this gorgeous beach home. Perfect for a Family Vacation. Located right on the beach with a private pathway to the beach. We would definitely stay here again! The host was amazing with quick response times.

Megan's place was everything that I needed. this was my second time staying and we had everything we needed. the pool and hot tub was very nice.

Simply amazing. Gloria felt like an old friend as we texted back and forth. The house is beautiful beyond words. Music playing in the background was a great addition. The backyard is the star of the show and was an amazing setup to our cruise. The price was right as wee shared with other couples for our family. I hope to stay here again in the future.

This condo was the perfect beach vacation spot. The proximity to the beach and loads of restaurants could not be beat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The space is well put together, and I greatly appreciated the stocked bottled water. The only con I'd say is, make sure you bring your sleep mask, as the lights from the outside the bedroom window don't ever turn off, and shine into the room at night.

Wonderful place. So relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the water. We sat there every morning before a busy day of AI competition and every night to unwind. Loved having the washing machine so I could wash everything before we moved on to the next place to visit family before our 20hr drive back to Ohio

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Perfect!!! Our family of three adults and our little rescue dog felt right at home here!! The house is squeaky clean, beautifully decorated, has a fully equipped kitchen and the backyard is PARADISE! We hardly left the house. Enjoyed the pool so much! Had fun chilling with board games and prepared several wonderful meals. Beds were super comfortable! Haven’t slept that well in ages! David was a terrific host. Checked in on us and also responded immediately when I asked where to buy fresh seafood to prepare. And yes, Katie’s was great! Thank you again! We WILL be back!!

Melissa’s home is BEAUTIFUL. I worked from the dining room on Friday and we spent the evenings watching movies in the living area, and it felt very homey. The bathroom was fantastic as well and everything was spotless and comfortable. This is not a place for little kids, being a townhouse with open stairs, but it was a perfect retreat for us.

Linda & Gregg were great! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and extras. Very clean. She made it very easy to extend our stay. Awesome hosts!!

The Train Depot was a great experience. Our host Tanner was very helpful and prompt when needed. Instructions were short and easy to understand. The property was very clean upon checkin. It’s far enough out that it’s peaceful and private and still only 15 minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk and only 45 minutes away from Galveston. At the risk of loosing availability to this property in the future, I would recommend staying here. I know that I will be if any of my future adventures bring me back to the area.

The property was a little gem for our family trip and the kids really enjoyed playing on the swings in the backyard. We would stay again!

Rhea was super helpful during our stay! Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the unit was exactly what we were looking for! Rhea went out of her way to assist us! The price was unbeatable for the area as well. We greatly enjoyed our stay thanks in large part to the support from Rhea and conditions of the unit!

This Airbnb is for the books. An excellent home away from home right on the water with everything a person could need. It is very clear that Jonathan and Patrick care about providing a wonderful experience (not just making money off of a property just cuz). The kitchen was very well stocked. Towels and soaps and everything one could need in the bathroom. Very, very comfortable beds. Well-placed TV. Great little loft area with more beds and a place to work. Lovely outside seating/hangout places upstairs and downstairs. Washer/dryer. Cleaning supplies. Everything. They were extremely responsive and helpful. When we needed help with one of the locks (we were just tired after a long drive; their instructions were actually on point) they proactively called us right away because they saw the notifications. Btw, the toilet has a seat warmer. I was like, "Now, they're just showing off!" Book this and anything else they have on this platform. They are the real deal.

Stacy was a fantastic host and the Sea Shack was perfect for our week long stay. Getting to have a country-view (complete with a pony neighbor!) while traveling to the Houston area was an unexpected find! There are 3 other homes very close on the same small street, but the stay was still quiet and peaceful. Well furnished, especially the kitchen. Stacy had complimentary snacks which was a welcoming touch. The bedroom was wonderfully comfortable and cozy, felt more like a high end booking we wouldn’t have been able to afford! Stacy is also extremely communicative and prompt! While also not being intrusive if nothing is needed. We will stay again when in the area!
