Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kefalas

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage bei Kiriaki und Michalis. So nett und überaus freundlich sind wir noch nie empfangen und verabschiedet worden, außergewöhnlich und herzerwärmend. Michalis hat uns selbstgefangene Oktopus frittiert: super lecker 😋, danke. Kyriaki und Michalis waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten jede Menge Tipps auf Lager für schöne Badestrände oder andere schöne Dinge, die man in der Gegend unternehmen kann. Haus und Hof waren sehr sauber und 1A vorbereitet. Im Innenhof vor dem Haus findet man Ruhe auf zwei Sonnenliegen. Toll waren auch die Zwischenreinigungen mit Handtuchwechsel. Danke auch dafür und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten zwischendurch. Im Dorf selbst kann man abends in 3 Restaurants die kretische Küche kennenlernen. Auch Lebenmittel sind vor Ort erhältlich. Auf dem Dorfplatz findet man immer einen Parkplatz. Und zum Strand in Almeryda rollert man 4 km den Berg herab, Sonne und Badevergnügen sind gesichert. Wir fliegen sehr gut erholt nach Hause!!

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

Four of us, two couples, spent a very enjoyable week at Roula's stone cottage. A special and stunning location and suspect a rare opportunity to spend time in a traditional style house in a rural cretan mountain village. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. May be better suited to a family stay as the downstairs room has no separate access to bathroom. We enjoyed the peaceful location immensely- great to getup and have breakfast outside with the fresh air and distant sound of goat bells. We travelled to Chania or the beaches along the coast every day and certainly didn't find the village too remote to do so. Nearby Tavernas and gorge walk are a must. Roula, along with her mother, were always quick, helpful and generous when questions were asked and supplied us with eggs and oranges and some home cooked food. Surely one of the best hosts I've experienced on airbnb. Would gladly return.

We had a wonderful time in the villa. Manolis was always very helpful and provided us support whenever we needed. I would absolutly recommend the villa. Especially the view is outstanding

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a great time at Georgios’s place at the garden of Zephyrus. The location was absolutely perfect surrounded by nature with incredible views in every direction. We did a lot of hiking nearby and it was a short drive to beautiful beaches. The apartment was comfortable and welcoming, and I left feeling refreshed and inspired. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and explore the outdoors! Georgios is fantastic host.

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

This is a very special apartment that has a view like no other. It’s the perfect home base to explore Chania and the region. I especially enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. There are many green grocers and farmer’s markets to procure the best Cretan produce and enjoying your meals with that incredible view. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and John is a superb host. He is not only thoughtful, he’s very proactive. The best experience I’ve had with Airbnb. He should be called a super, super host!

My wife and I came for one night at Chania, Litsa's place was a perfect match for us! it's 10 minutes of slow walk from the craudy center, placed in side street that was so peaceful and quiet:) The apartment is one of the most equipped bnbs that I saw, the attention to details and thought of the person who stayed was incredible. there is a streamer so you can watch YouTube, Netflix or prime plus. Litsa was super responsive and communicative, even helped us with good words in a hard personal situation. we recommend Litsa's place to everyone!

Estadia fantástica, mesmo em cima da praia! Fotos muito parecidas com a realidade, com todas as comodidades disponiveis! Fica no passeio maritimo muito proximo de vários restaurantes, supermercado e do centro histórico, dá para fazer tudo a pé a uma curta distância. O Fotis foi super prestável e deu instruções muito claras. Tivemos vontade de ficar mais tempo!!! 5*

The photos do not do this beautiful place justice. The flowers and greens are so bright, and you have a view of mountains and the sea. Tina is incredibly kind and accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. She sent me home with some wonderful herbs from her garden - they smell amazing! She also treated me to some homemade Cretan cake she baked at the start of my trip. As a solo traveller, this was incredibly special and I am so grateful to her. Driving around the area is fantastic with so many beaches and hikes in the surrounding area. The space is very clean and comfortable! I hope to one day return.

We stayed week here and we would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore chania by walking or renting a car. Not loud at night so easy to sleep. Only short walk to shops and restaurants. Free parking area with many spots usually available only short walking distance from the house. The streets around the house were allmost allways full of cars. Working A/C in all rooms. Nice backyard for relaxing morning coffees. All the rooms look like in the pictures. Recommended!

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

The apartment is very easy to get to and enter, there is a designated off road parking space, and a lift to the top floor. You open the door and a huge balcony opens out onto a truly magnificent view of the bay. Worth the money for that alone! The bed is really comfortable, but we were very glad of the air conditioning, which works well. Good kitchen facilities. The property is on the edge of town, away from all the traffic, which suited us, plus there is a Lidl about 100 metres away! Dimos is a very friendly guy, always responds to messages, he came to meet us soon after arrival, and again to say goodbye at the end. He also put a nice bottle of red wine and some raki in the fridge, nice touch. I would recommend this apartment, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour chez Elina , grâce à notre hôte qui nous a partagé ses bonnes adresses, eu des attentions délicates, durant notre séjour (chaussons grec aux épinards et fêta, faits maison). L' appartement est fidèle aux photos, il est très confortable et agréable, en étant proche de la veille ville, de La Canée. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci Elina

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

We loved our stay here! It is in a great location. Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and shops. It also has an incredible view of the harbor from the balcony. The host made sure the property was very clean, provided some welcome gifts, and responded promptly when we locked ourselves out on accident! Would gladly stay here again!

Onze week in deze accommodatie was werkelijk onvergetelijk. Vanaf het eerste moment voelde het fijn. We arriveerden laat in de avond, maar dat was voor Anna, onze lieve gastvrouw, totaal geen probleem. Ze stond klaar met een warm welkom, er lag een schaal vers fruit, water in de koeling. Het is werkelijk aan alles is gedacht: van keukenuitrusting tot strandspullen, speelgoed voor kinderen. De inrichting is zowel stijlvol als kindvriendelijk, wat het verblijf voor ons als gezin extra comfortabel maakte. Buiten wachtte ons een prachtig uitzicht, en de ligging is perfect: binnen 10 minuten wandelen bevind je je al in de gezellige en historische Old Town. We hebben genoten van de rust, de natuur, het comfort en de gastvrijheid. Deze plek is met recht een verborgen juweeltje en wij zouden het zonder aarzelen opnieuw boeken. Absolute aanrader!

Vlakbij het strand. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar. Appartement heeft alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Behulpzame verhuurder. Alles op wandelafstand, auto is enkel nodig voor daguitstappen. Leuk speelgoed voor de kinderen. Enige minpunt is dat het naast een drukke baan ligt met nodige lawaai.

The apartment’s large balcony & location at the quiet end of the Venetian Harbour in Chania old town, was perfect for relaxing and exploring the labyrinthine little alleyways of the old town of Chania. I started and ended the day sitting on the balcony, watching sensational sunsets, the quiet chatter of people in the restaurant below and the mooring and unmooring of boats in the harbour! Christina, my main contact, was outstanding in her responsiveness and assistance in ordering a taxi etc. I would definitely stay here again!
