Where do I start...from before I arrived, up until my departure...Joanne was attentive in every way possible. All my questions were answered with an immediate response. The home was extraordinary. The effort Joanne has put in to making it just like home shows. With an abundance of whimsical touches. Up until the day I left, I would see a new thing. As if the enchanting home wasn't enough, the back patio is a place of serenity...with the sounds and view of the river extraordinary. I could go on and on, but I will just say, "it was the best vacation I have ever had". One word describes this Airbnb...AMAZING!!!🩷. I will return next year! Didn't want to leave!!! 😊 Thank you Joanne for your exemplary hospitality!

We loved our stay at Reinaldo’s place! The location was so serene and just perfect for a little getaway from downstate. They keep it very clean and in order and are responsive hosts! Our favorite moments were taking the kayaks out onto the lake, barbecuing dinner, and sitting by the campfire at night. Truly lovely.

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

Beautiful cabin in the woods that isn’t too far from anything but feels isolated just the same. Terrific base of operations to access many trailheads, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Restful and low maintenance stay. We would recommend and visit again.

Wonderful stay! We enjoyed doing puzzles and exploring the nearby waterfall and lakes. The space was perfect, and we appreciated the opportunity to relax here.

Tomo was a fantastic, responsive host, and the space was private, inviting, and warm. The home was as described and the surrounding property was perfect for walking the dogs. I would highly recommend anyone looking for some serenity to stay here. Not a big deal but I wish I would have known prior to our stay that trash was not disposed on premises- we had to drive 10 minutes away to drop off and pay for trash disposal. It was super easy and very cheap, just wish I would've known prior to our stay. Thank you Tomo!!

Inside, we were greeted by cozy furnishings, inviting spaces, and a sense of home that made it hard to leave. The warmth of the hosts and the evident care they put into the space only added to the overall experience. It was a true joy to wake up each morning in such a beautiful place, feeling both relaxed and inspired by the surroundings. The entire property is enchanting, and we can’t wait to return for another memorable stay. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance

We had a fantastic stay at this home in Johnsburg! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy, and we really appreciated how dog-friendly the space was—our two pups felt right at home. The hot tub and pool were a huge bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Adirondacks. Our child loved the fun game room stocked with toys, and the pool table provided entertainment for the adults, too. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for comfort and fun in a beautiful setting!

Our stay was very nice! Our top requests are clean, quiet and comfortable beds. All three were met. Pat, was very friendly and helpful with our stay. I would stay there again!

We had an amazing time staying at Debbie’s place this past weekend. It was so quiet and peaceful - the sunsets and stargazing are incredible! There are plenty of trails to explore, but the fenced in yard itself is quite spacious and was perfect for our active pup. You can see the main house from the cabin, but it still felt very private. WiFi is fine, but true to the property notes, I wouldn’t recommend trying to stream anything/video conferencing. The bed was comfy, shower was hot, and the kitchen was well stocked. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall weekend getaway, and definitely plan on returning next year. Thank you, Debbie (and Alfie!), for your hospitality!

Beautiful relaxing space, just as listed. Kylie left thoughtful touches like wine for us and treats for my dogs. She left clear instructions and was very accessible and responsive. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend skiing at Gore mountain and staying here at Shyra’s place. Everything was clean and accommodating. We wish we came when the hot tub was available but otherwise we loved our stay and would definitely return!

We had such a great time at Ashley's place and really appreciated the welcome basket & being able to bring our 2 kitties with us to stay that need meds. (We also loved the neighborhood porch kitty that visited daily.) Thank you SO much, Ashley!

Our group had a great time at Anna & JP’s cabin. Not only was the cabin comfortable & filled with amenities - it is right in the middle of all of the best trail heads! 5 stars

Cabin was everything I was looking for, super cute and cozy! I literally couldn’t believe it was exactly as described, so beautiful! Just minutes away from Main Street Lake Placid, minutes away from Whiteface mountain (Ski/Hiking). Definitely will be coming back, Thanks Montana!

We had a wonderful stay in Lake Placid, thanks to Angela’s lovely apartment. Even with some rainy weather, the cozy space made for a perfect couples retreat. We did run into a minor hiccup with a smoke detector that needed a new battery, but Angela responded immediately and arrived with a replacement within the hour—super helpful and responsive! The location was ideal—tucked away just enough to feel like a private oasis, yet right in town for easy access to everything. The backyard was especially charming, with beautiful shady trees and a staircase leading right into Mirror Lake. Absolutely stunning!

We loved our stay at Cary’s place! It was so peaceful in the woods yet so close to town and all of the activities. Cary was very helpful especially with the amount of snow we got! We would definitely return!

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the area. I can’t wait to come back!

I felt very safe knowing it was a gated RV park community. I loved the cabin as it was neat & clean. The owners and cleaning lady were friendly and pleasant to talk to. I hope to come back soon.

The house and location are beautiful the location is perfect walking distance to town. The grounds are beautiful. We will be back to enjoy the space again!
