Lake house vacation rentals in Kawartha Lakes

My family had a great time at Rehul’s cottage. The interior of the cottage has good open space and lots of different sleeping options. We found it well stocked and kept. The yard was great, the kids play area was perfect for our kids, and the fire pit and available water gear was good too. The water is quite shallow, and was full of seaweed in august, but if you have some brave seaweed pullers in your party the kids will still have a great time swimming in the water, and can have a fun time fishing off the dock.

Can’t say enough good things about this Airbnb. My girlfriend & I wanted a pet friendly getaway not too far from Toronto for the Easter weekend, and we couldn’t have been more relaxed. The hot tub overlooking the water was stunning, and made for an incredible nights sleep. Didn’t have to worry about our puppy as the whole backyard is closed off. You are only a couple minutes walk from any store/souvenir shop you need. The interior is homey and inviting, and you can’t beat the gorgeous view in the backyard. There’s all the board games you’d need to keep yourself entertained. Smart TV/all the kitchen utensils necessary. Perfect, quiet little town if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway! Would recommend 110%!

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. The fall colours were amazing, the property so peaceful. Kaitlin’s home was very spacious and clean…. It was a lot bigger in real life than what I imagined from the pictures. Kaitlin is a great host. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Vickys place was an amazing get away for my family and I. The view of the water was amazing and the house was clean. Lots of bed space and living area. Large back yard. Clean bbq which was a big plus for us! We would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks Vicky!

Great spot for a large gathering of people. There were always enough chairs to have all of us around 1 big table, always enough plates & glassware too! All the different activities like the kayaks, pool table, etc always kept us busy too! We had a great time staying here and met all of our requirements and then some!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. This place was amazing and very clean.. They had almost everything we need. I really loved this place and we enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, playing ping-pong and also we enjoyed staying outside with our bonfire. The best part was the hot tub we had time to sat in the hot tub while talking great memories with friends. I highly recommend this place to those families that need peaceful and enjoyable vacation or time off like us.. We drove 5 hours from Windsor and my friends drove 3 hours from Ottawa... The 2 kids were having fun playing with the arcade.... Thanks to the host...

We loved our stay at Michael’s! He and Kat thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The house was immaculate, and lots of incidentals were provided. The location is wonderful: right on a lovely canal and a beautiful lake. And it is so peaceful! We hated to leave! I enthusiastically recommend this cottage!

Enrique and Shaun have a lovely place in close proximity to the GTA. Early morning is best spent on the big deck at the back of the house with the sun rising over the water. We caught some fish off of the dock and had a great time. Barbecue worked great as well. Highly recommend to future guests.

This cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. It had more than enough beds for everyone to get well rested. The backyard is stocked with everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bbq, camp fire, and the deck sitting by the river. I would definitely recommend this cottage for your trip!

Beautiful spot right on the lake. Nice equipment for swimming and boating. Beautiful patio with a wonderful view. Enjoyed the campfire at the fire pit. We were relieved that Chris took care of the garbage disposal.

The place was too god just in front of lake. We have a great night there. They also have barbecue outside the cottage. We will love to visit this place again.

We had a beautiful, peaceful, chilled-out week at Adam & Tessa’s cozy cottage! It was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The fenced yard was so handy, and we loved the screened in porch and deck with its lovely view of the river. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and swimming and kayaking in the river, and it was nice to have a small public beach just a short walk away as well! The air conditioning was appreciated on a couple of very hot days and everything in the cottage was super clean and comfortable, and very well-equipped. There are quite a lot of stairs to get to the dock, but the trade off is the gorgeous view from the cottage - well worth it, and helped us get our steps in! We felt right at home and Adam and Tessa were really lovely and responsive in the messages we had back and forth. Thanks for a great week!!

Beautiful lakefront house, host is very friendly and flexible, very responsive. House is big enough to accommodate a big group. We were 12 adults and it had enough bedding for all of us. Lots of games were there for kids. Kitchen was fully stocked. We loved the place.

Beautiful house, easily accommodated our family. There are so many spaces for people to gather so it made it easy for everyone to be comfortable! We loved the giant kitchen and harvest table. Beds were very comfortable. Linens are all mismatched but clean and beds were all made. Snow was cleared from driveway before we arrived, which we were pleasantly surprised about because it was a pretty big snowstorm. Super close to Brechin point ice hut rentals where we spent our day out on the lake!!
