Beautiful, clean, and peaceful stay in Takayama. The home is stylish and quiet, yet close to everything—we loved walking to nearby restaurants and cafés. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect way to unwind. Highly recommend!

Twin Room in a lifestyle hotel with social vibe!

VernellRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a last minute booking as we didn’t feel like driving to Osaka after a full day of seeing the gardens and castle. So we found Linnas place which was a 12min drive and have parking near by for an affordable rate. Once we walked in we were checked in by a lovely lady she gave as directions to check out the geisha district which I’m very appreciative of because if we had not stayed we wouldn’t of seen the beauty that Kanazawa had to offer at night. The room was beautiful and tidy my husband and I had the best sleep. And we checkout was an easy breeze as we had to leave to check out more temples on the route to Osaka.

A century-old Machiya townhouse with free parking

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It‘s was our best stay on our Japan journey so far. Extremely nice and modern (but still traditional elements) house, calm neighborhood, perfect location to discover several beautiful places in Kanazawa. We stayed there three nights and it was also a good period for Kanazawa. The communication with the host team was super fast, easygoing and service-oriented. We also joined a really nice calligraphy class because out host organized this course for us. Very lovely place!!

[Asahi66] Relaxing Kominya Stay Hakusan Tsururai 1 ~ 2 people can use # cototto

The accommodation is a large house, I had 2 spacious rooms for myself alone, where I could also accommodate my luggage well. So, no claustrophobia. Kitchen, fridge, washing machine, etc. were also available jointly. It is located in a village just outside the city, therefore there are few shops. Hiro also lives in the house, is very helpful and always responds very quickly

There is a remodel of a 100-year-old townhouse, Share House GAOoo1 Breakfast (300 yen).

JérémyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed at Soku San and Gao's sharehouse and had a pleasant welcome and accommodating. The house is wooden style, very clean and nice and the room was with traditional bedding. I had to ask the host for an additional futon for sleeping on tatami was a bit hard for me. Soku San proposed paid breakfast for only ¥300. Kanazawa surroundings can be accessed easily walking or with loop busses. I recommend the Kenrokuen gardens and the castle grounds park. And food market Omicho. Stay at this place was great and Shiba inu is cute!

Deluxe Room - Kuro - Machiya Heritage Hotel

SarahmarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was an absolute treat to stay in this beautiful restored machiya building in Kanazawa. Every little detail of the hotel was gorgeous, from the wood floors to the dimmable lighting to the garden adjoining one entire side of the room. The bed was very comfortable, the shared kitchen was convenient, the shower was amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring the heart of the city. I’m so glad we had a chance to stay here!
