The courtyard, warehouse, long hallway, etc. remain old, while the kitchen (simple cooking is available), toilets, bathrooms, and washrooms have been renovated to make it a very clean space. They share a wall with their neighbors so they can feel the sound of life and other touches on each other. That's why parties and banquets are not allowed at night. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

"Hinoki no ie" is a wooden house surrounded by the nature of the Noto area. It's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto and it's about an hour by car from both, making it convenient for sightseeing. You can relax in the living room, the Japanese-style room or the cozy open space. The bath is made of hinoki, Japanese cypress. When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The sea is also very close.
