Just the right location for our family trip. The rooms we quaint and comfortable. The staff, especially Sajith was excellent on site manger. He provided a varied and tasty breakfast and dinner with his staff. The beach was clean and rustic authenticity. Sun rise was spectacular. Choice of local food within east drive as well.

het terrein was groot en proper,we werden aan de poort ontvangen door de lieve dochter van de man dat er werkte. bij aankomst waren de mensen zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. we werden rondgeleid in onze verblijfplaats van die nacht dat ruimschoots genoeg was voor ons 2 en daarna werd er een lekkere thee gebracht. alles was ter beschikking. het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. wij hebben hier genoten. ik neem graag nog deze kans om de man te bedanken die voor ons klaarstond! (enkel de douche was iets fris)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Thevalakshumie's Place in Batticaloa, and it was a delightful experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to find and conveniently accessible to all the major attractions. The amenities provided were essential and met all my needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The host was helpful, providing clear instructions and prompt communication. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. I would love to come back in the future and highly recommend Thevalakshumie's Place to others visiting Batticaloa.

Himaz ist der beste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann, er ist sehr flexibel, freundlich und herzlich, dabei zu 0 % aufdringlich. Er hat uns viele Fragen über Sri Lanka und die Umgebung beantwortet, uns auf Wunsch zu einem Local Market begleitet und uns im Anschluss einen Curry-Kochkurs mit seiner Tante vermittelt. Jeden Morgen reinigt er den Strand vor dem Haus und stellt Holzliegen mit weichen Auflagen unter die beiden Palmen am Strand. Herrlich ist es auch, in dem schattigen Garten zu sitzen, der zum Haus gehört. Das Frühstück war köstlich. Das Zimmer hat einen hohen Standard und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten, um eine hervorragende Zeit zu haben. Auf Wunsch wurde uns ein Wasserkocher gegeben, neben dem Bett sind Nachttischlampen, es gab viele Ablagemöglichkeiten, einen Kleiderschrank, ein tolles Bad. Der Balkon bietet einen traumhaften Blick in den Garten und das Meer. Für den Weg zum Flughafen hat H. uns einen sehr guten Fahrer vermittelt. 100%ige Empfehlung

Ich kann mich den sehr positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Auch für mich war dies ein sehr besonderer Ort! Das Guest House liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig fußläufig zum Ort. Nachdem die Tage zuvor etwas anstrengend und chaotisch waren, konnte ich hier direkt zur Ruhe kommen und die Akkus aufladen. Weit weg von allen Touristenströmen… Krishan und sein Team waren zudem sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Als wir da waren, haben wir uns kurzfristig für eine Safari entschieden, die Krishan für uns organisiert hat. Für uns war diese allein unter dem Gesichtspunkt möglich, dass diese im Respekt zur Natur- und Tierwelt durchgeführt wird. Dies war im Maduru Oya Nationalpark auf jeden Fall erfüllt. Wir haben 2x das Curry genossen, was absolut köstlich war. Unabhängig von der Safari, einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Sri Lanka. Danke Krishan!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The family is very hospitable. The accomodation is located between Pasikuda and Kalkudah Beach. You have to walk 5-10 min to reach the beaches. The breakfast and the dinner were amazing and they always explain to you what it is and how to eat it. My boyfriend mentioned once that he wants to try fish during our trip and the next evening they prepared fish for him. So attentive :) Highly recommend this place.

Notre séjour avec Mala a été fabuleux. Mala et le reste de la famille a pris soin de nous durant 2 merveilleuses journées. Repas succulents, plusieurs collations pour nous faire découvrir des produits locaux, massage, tour culturel avec souper traditionel à la belle étoile. Le coup de coueur a été l'attention porté à nos enfants et notre bébé de 7 mois. C'est comme si on avait une baby-sitter en tout temps. Les enfants ne voulaient plus partir! Toutes les activités se faisaient avec les enfants de Mala. C'est comme si on était une seule grande famille. Merci Mala pour cet expérience. Nous recommandons vivement!

Ruhige und etwas motivationslose Mitarbeiter, Englisch war nicht so gut. Essen war toll und die Preise super. Strand in der Nähe schön und tolle ruhige Umgebung ums Haus herum. Bad hat etwas feucht und stickig gerochen, aber Zimmer war hervorragend. Einfach tolle Unterkunft.

Absolut unglaublich tolle Unterkunft. Die Lage ist traumhaft schön - ein Spaziergang zu den Elephant Rocks lohnt sich sehr! Lasst euch bekochen und lernt das authentische und wahre Leben Sri Lankas kennen. Wir LIEBEN diesen Platz! Die Mitarbeiter haben am Geburtstag unserer Tochter alles dekoriert, ein Kuchen mit Aufschrift organisiert und mit uns eine Party gefeiert - herzlichen Dank für den schönsten Geburtstag! :)
