Cozy house, relaxed atmosphere, close to Senja.

An older house with a warm atmosphere! The house was built in 1967 and originally served as a convenience store for 16 years, hence the affectionate nickname “the store” among family & friends. The property is located on Furøy in Sørreisa. The location is convenient, with the bus stop just a two-minute walk away, and you can easily get around by car or bus – it takes about 38 minutes to Bardufoss Airport, 16 minutes to beautiful Senja, and just over two hours to Tromsø. Here, you have the sea and fantastic hiking areas right outside the door.

An easy starting point for hikes in the mountains, at sea and in the cultural landscape. Relax in close contact with our sociable sheep and lambs. Possibility of hiking equipment, backpack, thermos, seat pad, etc. The hot tub is ordered separately, NOK 1200/EUR 120. Booking at least 4 hours in advance. Dyrøy Holiday - Lodge at the end of the road

Our cabin is situated in calm and lush surroundings at the end of the road on the island of Dyrøy. The island is sheltered from the open ocean by Senja. The legend tells that the famous Norwegian Viking chief Tore Hund (“Thor the Hound”) had his reindeer on the island and from that time the island is called Dyrøy - the animal island. Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outer side of the adventure island Senja.
