The Host The Architect The Perfectionist “Chetan” has lots to offer. The property is exceptionally designed by the host himself. The rooms are class apart. It seems they have been specially curated for you only. The washrooms have luxury bath fittings. The restaurant is coming up very nicely. It gives you feel of tranquility alongwith Royalty. The staff is courteous helpful and jovial Chetan’s Better Half “Rose” will be there to greet you and you can see her plucking fresh vegetables from their garden to make fresh salads and vegetables for you. Its proximity to The Mayfair and Queens pod make it even more worth staying. We stayed here from June 4th to June 7th, and honestly, it was more beautiful than the pictures. The property felt like a cozy retreat in the hills peaceful, picturesque, and full of warmth. The early monsoon made it even more magical, with clouds drifting in and out and the view constantly shifting like a dream. The rooms were beautiful and matched the listing perfectly. The terrace became our favorite hangout especially with two birthdays to celebrate (my sister’s on the 5th and mine on the 6th). It was unforgettable. Manju Didi, the caretaker, was the heart of the stay kind, thoughtful, and always there when we needed her. Her food was delicious, especially for our mom who usually struggles with outside food. The only hiccup was on the 6th we had to leave early and breakfast wasn’t available before 8 AM. A bit more flexibility would’ve helped. But all in all, this place felt like home. We already miss it and Manju Didi’s sweet chats. Would love to come back again someday.

Staying at Nakeema Farmstead with Pranita Ji and Deepak Ji completely redefined homestays for me. Their warmth, mindfulness, and attention to detail made it one of the most peaceful and fulfilling vacations I’ve ever had. My top 3 Airbnb must-haves—cleanliness, good food, and beautiful surroundings—were all delivered and how! The space was spotless (read: Monica-clean), the food was farm-fresh and delicious (cooked by the hosts themselves!), and the setting was pure bliss. What truly stood out was how much care went into every little detail. On days we were out exploring, they thoughtfully prepped a heavy breakfast to keep us going—small gestures that made a big impact. And of course, a special mention to Pranita Ji’s furbabies—friendly, well-behaved, and absolute sweethearts. They added so much joy to our stay. Airbnb rightly calls this place a rare find. I couldn’t agree more. Heart full, belly full—10/10 would go back!

Had a lovely stay at Manalsu in Gangtok! The highlight was definitely the hospitality .. Chef Roshan prepared delicious, homely meals with a touch of local Sikkimese flavor that made us feel right at home. Abhimanyu was an exceptional host, checking in on us daily and suggesting great local spots to explore. The overall vibe of the place is warm and welcoming – a great base to enjoy Gangtok. Do keep in mind that occasional power cuts can happen, but that’s a general issue in Sikkim, not just here. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality!

Really Good Place for family short trip. I plan to roam near by area but her place is so beautiful I decided to enjoy this place only. Meghna mother is truly Gem of the house. She prepare tailor made food for us. Truly look like my mom is preparing. Even during cooking you join her she will tell you story of his life. Innocentely super. I have 10 years old kid with me he really like Doggy very adorable. He is always play with him. All food aunty prepare organic. In last thank you for everything. God bless you, you grow day by day.

Holumba Haven is a wonderful play to stay and relax. The hosts are so friendly, and I enjoyed my conversations with them. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. I’ve already booked my next stay with Holumba Haven!

The stay was exactly like I'd longed for. Comfortable and safe for solo women travellers. I shared the space with the kindest host who respected my privacy at all times. She was very helpful with everything and recommended some nice places to visit nearby. The staffs were quite responsive and friendly as well. The view from the room was breathtaking and the weather was just right. Surrounded by warm people and sumptuous home cooked meals, it felt right at home. I recommend this place for all women travelling by themselves.

This is a beautiful serene place to stay with great coffee and great views of the Himalayas. Our accommodation was clean, private and secure. Sarah is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. We highly recommend this place.
