The atmosphere is created by a cozy fireplace in the cottage and what is more wonderful than brewing your morning coffee unhurriedly with a traditional wood stove. Ranta-Mäntylä

Welcome to relax in the arms of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful and fishy lake (Kallavesi), surrounded by nature, in the courtyard of our home, just a 25-minute drive from the cities of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cottage comfortably accommodates two people, and a baby/child's extra bed can be found if needed. The sleeping quarters have sleeping accommodations for two during the summer. Guests have access to a barbecue, paddleboard and rowboat. Additional fee for using the hot tub.

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Log cabin on the shore of a quiet lake

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the shore of the lake. Carved from thick logs, the cabin exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the place has the special feature of the cowbell ringing in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

The core idea of the place is: “Everyone is a hermit at heart” – a place to reset the mind and clarify your own thoughts. The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travelers seeking peace and quiet.

In this unique and peaceful cottage, it is easy to relax while watching the beautiful lake landscape. Cottage 55m² and a new 30m² yard building as well as a large terrace and barbecue area on the beach. Air heat pump and fireplace in use. Close to good fishing, berry picking, and outdoor terrain. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddle board and a rowboat, as well as Wi-Fi. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10e/person, final cleaning 80e extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

This oasis of relaxation is a magnificent, unique architectural ensemble at the tip of the peninsula, with room to breathe and relax. The cottage is located by the clean Suvasvesi. Next to the main cottage, there is a summer sleeping cabin with stunning panoramic lake views. Large windows bring nature indoors everywhere! A huge terrace area connects the main cottage, the sleeping quarters and the pier complex with the jacuzzis on the beach and the lake surrounds everywhere. It's good to be here :).

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

This is where you'll sleep well, even though the train and bus station are located in the yard. In the same area, there is a parking garage with free parking for 1 car and charging facilities for electric cars. In the yard, K-Supermarket, lunch restaurant, Barots quick restaurant + other services. The harbour and market area are a short walk away. Linens provided.

Summergottage at Suvasvesi lake in Vehmersalmi

Gottage is situated by Suvasvesi lake nearby Vehmersalmi village, built -83 and totally renovated -18 when a totally new sauna was built. Surrounded by pineforest for hiking, picking berries and mushrooms. Only 0,5km to the village with different services. There is electicity, washing water coming from lake and fireplace heating. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Even though a small, stylish sauna room is part of our inhabited yard, you'll find peace, nature, privacy, and lovely scenery here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Use a rowing boat and a paddleboard. Available for rent for fishing with a motor boat. Bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, linen can be arranged from the accommodation.
